The Pharisees were the Lawyers...as regard interpreting the Mosaic Laws. Sadly Christ exposed them as unloving, lacking in compassion, proud and arrogant. Fr. Altman seems to follow a similar line and depends on social media to fight the battles he is totally consumed by. I am NOT an admirer, a fan, a devotee, an adulator or follower of Fr. Altman. Simply an ordinary Catholic who desires that CHRIST be the true centre for how deal with others. I expect that not every Catholic will agree with Pope Francis approach to " taking care of the Church." But be RESPECTFUL, BE KIND, BE OBEDIENT TO CHRIST'S COMMAND TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

@vivl4862 Lofton is a charlatan of poor integrity. He has, in the past, attended Eastern Orthodox liturgies and received their sacraments while claiming to be a Roman Catholic. He admitted this in an exchange I had with him and when he realized what he had done, wiped the conversation off of RUclips. He is a liar.

A shame he is, at least by the moment, still united to the modernist religion and lacking valid orders since he was doubtfuly ordained a priest with the new rite by doubtful modernist "bishops". He should reach finally the conclusion Bp. Sanborn is pointing to and even ask him to re ordain him subconditione in order to finally become a real Catholic Priest.

We need more Fr. Altmans in the church. He preaches repentance which we don't here from Francis. I understand his rightness anger as Francis fired him for just telling the Truth. In the long run, after this synod is over, we will remember what Fr Altman said and say yes he was telling the truth about Francis. Allowing the influx of immorality without repentance will cause a schism in the church. So sad. 11:29

Here Bishop Sanborn, says Excommunication must take effect. He does not know the meaning of Automatic Excommunication. Which is immaterial it is told or proclaimed by Superiors or any one, in the Spiritual Realm, he is Excommunicated. Automatic is without even proclaiming such to the person.
It is similar when we commit a sin. It is not proclaimed to us or pointed out.

The idea that a pope could actually teach public heresy was so anathema to the Doctors and Theologians that they couldn't actually envision what would happen should such a thing actually happen. This is why a pope teaching heresy is not cause for his not being pope, but a symptom of him not being pope.

Neither JPII nor BXVI were good, they were behind Vatican II and they imposed it. They lead many souls to hell with their heresies and sacrilegious acts. That's rotten evil.
And Pope Pius XII did consecrate Russia to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart and Russia still fell, and Portugal didnt preserved the faith. So, there's three options:
1.Pope Pius XII didn't do the consecration correctly.
      2.Our Lady lied.
3.The message attributed to Our Lady of Fatima is doubtful and most likely false (which doesn't means and is not the same as to say the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima is false too, since that Apparition is true).
Since Our Lady would never lie and is absurd to conclude the Pope, of all the people, wouldn't do a Consecration to Our Lady correctly, then the logical conclusion is the third option, that message attributed to Our Lady of Fatima is doubtful and most likely a forgery, just like with that attributed to Our Lady of La Salette since it claims Rome will lose the faith and become the See of the Antichrist, something absolutely imposible since the Catholic Church has declared Rome cannot lose the faith, which doesn't mean the men inside it cannot lose the faith, like has happened since Vatican II.

I have observed that a significant number of clergy have stepped forward since Fr. Altman reacted to all that is happening in the Church. If the notion of infallibility (in cases not involving ex-cathedra) rests on the universal acceptance of papal decisions by bishops and by the faithful, it necessarily follows that dissent is part of the process. That would make infallibility a reasonable doctrine. The Holy Spirit is active now as widespread debate is focused on what is happening in the Vatican. It cannot be claimed that there is grassroots acceptance. So dissent is thereby protecting the deposit of faith by indirectly applying the dogma of infallibility when there is no ex-cathedra declaration.

    • @romancatholicmedia
      @romancatholicmedia  Год назад +2

      1) The idea that the pope could teach pernicious error "when not speaking ex cathedra" is incompatible with the Church's indefectibility. The pope's magisterium is always safe. Theologians call this safety "negative infallibility". 2) The universal peaceful acceptance must include the acceptance of the pope-elect. But we know that "Vatican II popes" have a defect of consent which prevents them from receiving authority. Therefore UPA is not verified. 3) Catholics must submit to the pope; resistance and dissent is schismatic. 4) "Vatican II popes" are not formally popes (form=authority), therefore there is nothing to resist/dissent with regard to them since there's nothing to recognize in them.

Let's us pray then for the Pope to U-turn and show the world the power of the confessional.

Antichrist is an attitude or philosophy, not necessarily a person. This attitude was around even when Jesus walked upon this earth, as part of God’s great strategy to save His children. Perhaps it is just getting stronger with the refusal of people to pray for and receive the power of discernment.

So Bishop Sanborn believes Nestorius was not deposed?

    • @romancatholicmedia
      @romancatholicmedia  11 месяцев назад

      51. Nestorius.
Nestorius was archbishop of Constantinople in the fifth century. In 428 he openly and publicly defended the heresy that Mary was not the Mother of God. He was very pertinacious about it, and tried by all means to entice clergy and people to accept his heresy. The Catholic clergy fled him, saying “An emperor we have, but no bishop.” For it was clear to them that a bishop pertinaciously teaching heresy to his flock was a wolf, and no shepherd.
Nonetheless, it was not until 431, in the Council of Ephesus, that he was officially declared a heretic and deposed from his see. At that council, up until the moment of his condemnation, he was addressed as “Your Reverence” and given other formalities of honor.
Let us draw a few observations from this event. First, it is evident that a bishop pertinaciously teaching heresy must be shunned as a wolf. Most of the clergy and the people had effectively broken communion with Nestorius. Nonetheless, an official and authoritative recognition of his heresy was still necessary to provide for a lawful succession to his see. Between 428 and 431, therefore, the see of Constantinople was in this intermediary situation, without a bishop to truly care for it, but instead occupied by a wolf, worthy of deposition and condemnation.

    Bishop Sanborn,
Please I’m begging, just answer this one question. Begging!!!
I have been to your church in Brooksville. It’s so, so very beautiful to me. I want my children to go there and be influenced by the good sisters and good priests. I live very nearby. I believe EVERYTHING you say, I desire to accept and uphold everything which the Holy Catholic Church teaches - traditionally since the beginning - not the heresies that many preach now.
Please, I cannot be Sedevacantist for the very reason you just said that Saint Robert Bellermaine said later on “you need an authority to declare the heresy as heresy.” You cannot just depose the pope - this is mob mentality as you just said. I have to wait patiently for a future Pope to say “this and this and this was heresy!” And scrap Vatican 2 etc. Right??!! You can’t just make bishops without the authority to give permission? Maybe be Sedevacantist .. but to make bishops??!! I want to attend your beautiful Mass sooo much. But this is what is keeping me stuck suffering in this mess of the dioceses Latin Mass. Waiting patiently for proper authority to get rid of him.
I am begging you or one of your priests to tell me why you don’t listen to Saint Robert Bellermaine?

Legality is only one aspect of the situation. The factual order is the other aspect. Bergoglio is not the pope factually, therefore Catholics must not recognize him as the pope, even though he has legal status. The other day a man started shooting people at a restaurant in Maine. Would you follow common sense in that situation and try to run from the scene, or would you rather say "he is legally innocent, therefore I will ignore the fact that he is shooting at us?"
We cannot recognize authority in Bergoglio because doing so would imply that the Church has ceased to be indefectible. It does not follow from his legal status that we must recognize him as the pope. A future declaration by the Church, although necessary, in no why affects our way of acting now. The reason is simple: the crisis of authority in the Church is not a question of personal heresy, it is rather an issue of defect of consent. We know for a fact that Bergoglio did not consent to his election. See: thethesis.us/chapter-x/
We have explained the personal heresy argument and why does not help us in the current situation, here: thethesis.us/chapter-xii/

Thank you for the response. But I recall there was a heretical bishop once coming to some place and the people and clergy all gave him the honors of being valid; then AFTER he was deposed or whatever the correct word is for a bishop - the clergy and people than did not give him the honors a bishop receives. I have a bunch of kids.. otherwise I’d look up the story and give references but I don’t have time right now I apologize for that. But im thinking you may already know what I’m referring to. Thank you, if you have time. If you DONT Know what I’m referring to please let me know and I’ll look it up. God bless you.

@@romancatholicmedia Sedevacantism is good for you. It works for you. God will judge.
The Church must be visible. Please tell me: where is the Catholic Church today? In Pennsylvania? Brooksville? Rome? Where is it? Must it not be visible?
I know that Oyster Bay condemns your “apostolate,” I know that Fr. Sanborn was in agreement with Frs. Kelly and Jenkins on Thuc but then turned his position on Thuc, permitting him to be “consecrated” a bishop. I am aware what happens to laypeople who have friends that are enemies of Fr. Sanborn-they are warned to break ties with such persons or lose the priestly assistance of Fr. Sanborn-very sad. I know of a teacher who taught at MHT in 2007, who was kicked out from teaching there; he is now a married priest, and also a “bishop,” ridiculous.
      Credibility?
What happens if I have an issue with a sede “priest,” or “bishop”? To whom would I go? There’s no hierarchy in your “church.”
You’re right on one thing: Vatican II is heresy. The pope is a heretic. Your analogy with a civil crime and waiting for a conviction of a criminal is ridiculous. A crime is a conclusion based on scientific evidence that leads one to believe that very little doubt exists as to one’s guilt of criminality… On the other hand, the church is an organic institution created by God that is not based on scientific evidence, but on the word of God, revealing his church.
It must be nice to have nice buildings , benefactors , titles and lots of places to go while FSSP, ICK, and good priests struggle and dodge this heretic in Rome who is in power and can hurt them simply by doing their jobs….it must me nice to absent yourself from this true struggle of the catholic priesthood and set up churches on your own authority.
Can I do this to the American government? I mean they take out $$ and kill babies…can’t I declare them to have lost their authority too?
      No?
You did that to the patients running the asylum.

@@romancatholicmediaand regarding nestorius… you said the clergy avoided him and condemned him… did they go and start bishops without authority? Or did they just do what the fssp and icksp and some sspx do and just continue being Catholic and pray for their wolf leader to be kicked out by proper authority, or convert. I’m BEGGING for these heretic’s conversions. Mary said “bishop against bishop.” That means they’re BISHOPS!!
I long for your beautiful Mass, it’s so close to me. I wish Fr. Selway and Fr Barns (?) would just come back and wait like the rest of us, suffering under wolfs. The church teaches, Christ even teaches I read it in haydock commentary “obey what is Catholic and don’t obey what is evil /sinful”… I long for those nuns to teach my babies. But I just have to suffer and drive to Christ the King FSSP in Sarasota for the best I can have here for my children.
Just where is the visible church???!!! Where??? And when a valid pope comes… some sedes will say he’s the pope and some won’t…. Who will be the authority to decide?!
I won’t comment more. I don’t wanna offend- my intent is truly good, I promise I mean no Ill will.

The church is not a mob alright, but borgolio removes every good bishop anytime he wants and brings in heretics only and anytime he wants.

There were priests believing they were faithfully serving God when Jesus first came.
He chose *none of them* instead He made himself new priests from the common people.
He did it once, and based on what we’ve seen over the last three years, we should expect Him to do so again..

That would imply a new Church, it wouldn't be the same Catholic Church Our Lord Jesus Christ founded and would make Our Lord a liar since He promised the gates of hell won't prevail against the Catholic Church while this you suggest would contradict His promise.

Surely you can see that what you penned is only one (though a very common) interpretation of Matthew 16:17-19
If *today* Jesus were to take *any* action He desired, to prevent the destruction of the church, it could be said “The Gates of Hell did not prevail against it.*
Do you really think the promise of His Prayer “Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Is the outcome on our current trajectory?

The Pope is the Pope. He outlawed the TLM because many were praying there. I would have liked him to keep both.
Some bishops still allow both. If you think Francis is modernising the church too quickly you should elevate yourselves to the SSPX churches permanently.
In the catholic church there are 3options:-
    1. Put up and shut up. The church is not a democracy,
    2. Go to another denomination,
    3. Stop going meaning Lapsed.

You don't put up with errors and pachanamas, you have to be faithful to Christ and pray for the conversion of false prophets. You do not leave Jesus because of Judas.

He outlawed the TLM because (a) the TLM was being used as an excuse for invalidating the Novo Ordo of 1968 and (b) the TLM was being used to negate Vatican II.
