I’ve managed to catch a couple 52-55cm soapies off the beach at night (perth NOR) which was great fun. Will have to get back out there later this week after I catch up on all the sleep I’ve lost getting skunked the last few nights 😂

Nice job boys! 3 in 1 night is a special thing. You may have shown just a bit too much of that spot. Anyone whose been to that town knows exactly where it is. My favorite spot. I bit further to the right on the first bend is also a great Mullaway spot.That beach will be packed over the next few days hahaha.

Are you American Adam? If you ever fish in Australia's oceans, please never hold a fish by the side of their lips. Almost all of them have sharp teeth and you will bleed.
@@jabangun sorry to correct you mate but I'm a fisho from Perth and I've caught plenty of Mully's best place to grab em is the side of the lip. They don't thrash around as they are usually too buggered for anything and just lie there. I do take the hooks out first though to save anything stupid happening. If your not aware of this technique you can jump on RUclips and lookup kob fishing in South Africa. There are plenty of pros and avid anglers that utilise this technique. In saying this I wouldn't do it with a fish like a pinky though, they'd make mince meat out of a finger in the wrong spot and they don't have the type of soft side lip like a mulloway.
