I took my kids and niece here a couple years ago and had researched where all of their favorite cartoon characters were, so we spent the day “finding them”. They loved it!
Looks like a fun day out! We’ve been traveling across the US and I’ve been looking up old videos of yours because you always give great advice on visiting new places! Cheers you two!
Many thanks for the video, I’ve been many times and still learned a few things. I would always park underneath Madam Tussaud’s as its’s $15 all day for valet parking and brings you up right in the middle of Hollywood. Also, I was expecting you to go to the funko pop store further down. Have you guys been? I went in 2021 and my kids loved it. Thanks again for the amazing videos you do on California. As a UK resident who loves the west coast I find your videos really helpful :)
I only have great memories of LA, one of my favorite places ever❤ I was there for a few months in the early 2000s and I loved every minute of it! I don’t know though how much it’s changed since then😃
Last time I visited the Walk of Fame was in 2009. Michael Jackson had just died and his star was covered with flowers. I didn’t know there was a beginning and end. In fact, you mentioned a lot of things I never knew, and I’ve visited the place at least half a dozen times! Thanks both of you, great video!
Love this… Thank you soo much for including us in your adventures. We are Golden Girls fans so my daughter got her picture taken at Betty White’s star😊
The one day I did a Hollywood walk of fame walk, my friend and I saw The Wizard of Oz at the Pantages with Mickey Rooney as the wizard. We walked up to the Chinese Theater. My friend and I had. I idea there was a start or end. I think we ate at Mel’s as well. I only went back once with my niece who really wanted to see it. And we ate a bit away at the famous Roscoe’s chicken and waffle Now that was a great place with great food. That’s for posting your tour in case I have to take someone there again. Personally I prefer the beautiful nature of CA but some just want to see that part too.
Great video! I love that there are some quirky locations, like Ed O'Neill's star being outside a shoe shop as a nod to his character Al Bundy from "Married... with Children" being a shoe salesman. Carol Burnett's star is outside the Hollywood Warner, where she worked and first realized she wanted to get into show business. Mike Myers' star is outside a store that was called the Love Boutique at the time as a nod to his Austin Powers movies. Perhaps the most unobvious placement is Roger Moore's star at 7007 Hollywood Blvd - he was in 7 007 movies.
Great video! 98° is great. Team Nsync. LFO was good too. Tim Burtons star was in front of the Toys and Costume store. There's a cool Kobe Bryant mural on the 4th floor too.I was there a couple months ago for Halloween Horror nights.
Great video -- it's fun to play tourist in your own town! However, I would not recommend that anyone take L.A.'s Metro transportation system at this time due to a crime surge. There are assaults almost on a daily basis and some people have been killed. LAPD is understaffed and Metro is currently working on developing its own police force, but that is some time in the future. Although traffic is a big problem in Hollywood, it's much safer taking your own car.
My fave boy/man band is New Kids On The Block...Donnie Wahlberg is my fave! lol We have a Museum of Illusions here in the Phoenix area (Scottsdale), I just went there last week, it was ok, wonder if they are the same.
I took my wife and sister in law basically on the same walking tour about 20 years ago and said I will never go back. There’s just something about the constant smell of urine that helped me make that decision. Oh. And the creeps trying to trick you into taking a photo with them. No thanks. But hey thank you both for taking us there so we don’t have to go. 👊
I’ve visited Hollywood twice, in 2019 and 2023; the place is in serious decline. Full of dodgy folk with megaphones. The big tell for me was the closing of the iconic Pig n Whistle restaurant. Real shame! Needs serious redevelopment.
FYI. That's not the original Hollywood sign. It was replaced/repaired some time in the early 1980's Rocker Alice Cooper bought one of the letters. I don't remember which one. I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. In 1958. And things were a lot different back then, were they perfect ? No but I sure do miss them.

haha that is so fun! I will have to do that with my kids when they get a little older
"I just saw Jesus hanging out with Spider-Man..." Lol!😂
Nice video, Josh!
Good shout out to Amoeba music! Many locals including myself hold this place very close to our hearts

So awesome that you’re traveling across the US!
Josh, Weird Al was the one I was hoping you would highlight! He is THE BEST!! 🎉🎉

Was excited to watch this video as we were there on Saturday and also parked in that same garage
Awesome video. Fun fact. I appraised the souvenir shop across from El Capitan and got to go on the roof last year.
Oh wow that would be so cool to go up there!
Musso and Frank. Dang. Perfect martinis and the delicious daily specials. After dinner, people watching on the Boulevard. 👍
Agreed, it is such a classic Hollywood spot
Great video, I am still getting over the train trip...
New Kids on the Block! Love your videos ❤ Thank you so much
haha good call!

Oh this makes me miss LA, but especially amoeba! I can get lost in there for hours😆
This was pretty good. Musso and Franks grill rules. you are right about the sketchy parts outside of the crowded areas. Thanks for the video!
This was great Josh and Amy! My first time to see The Walk of Fame! Looks like Vegas at night as you said! Thank you!❤️😀🇺🇸🌏⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think Aimee & "Pops" do deserve a award.
Great video full of practical tips! So much fun!!

Oh that is a good one to take a photo with!
The Funko store (across the street from Amoeba) and Japan House (at Ovation) are also fun attractions, and both are free!

Ya, I don't go often either as I prefer other parts of CA but figured it might be helpful to someone. I love Roscoes as well
Great Video ❤
Thank you!

Oh wow, I didn't know that, I wish I did before the video!
Favorite boy band: Menudo lol… you guys brought me back to my high school years. My friends and I used to go to the walk of fame all of the time 😆🙌🏽
haha! That is awesome, I am sure it has changed a lot

I should have gone to the mural, thanks for the tip!
That’s good, looks like you guys made it out without getting mugged.
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awwww, I was hoping to see Neil Diamond!
That would have been a good one!
Cool, 🎉, Prudential spending
Thanks for sharing…!
You are so welcome! Hope it was helpful!
Lmao, that's me at 10:17 in the denim jacket and the black jorts

Is there parking validation at that souvenir store?

peace be upon you from java island sir
That’s so kind, thank you!
Truly a shame California is choosing to get rid of their history for vape shops. Not the least bit shocking though.

Whoa, i was just there yesterday, was a great day! Hope you both had fun as well!!👌👍🙏 🥰
That is awesome! Hope you had a great time!

I would choose Carmen Miranda's star ❤
Good call!
❤️❤️❤️
Don't ever apologize for taking a picture of Weird Al Yankovich. Still the best concert ever!
So, when is Hollywood going to give you (Josh and Amy) a star ....and place it on the "Walk Of Fame" ??
Backstreet Boys all the way! I love Bryan lol
haha heck yes!

98° sucks. BACKSTREET BOYS FOREVER!!!
Hollywood and Vine at night...oh no. Your looking for strange, Sunset Blvd at night, that place is strange.😝
The video is ok but it's name is a clickbate. Nothing extra was revealed, everything is outside for everybody, you can miss it only if you are blind)
Love the channel but please Josh, clean up that neckline 🪒 😅 all love 🫶
haha good call! 😅
