Paloma I really enjoyed hearing you talk about discovering that you like drawing older people! Most artists draw young attractive people as the default, without even really thinking about it (I'm guilty of this too!) I guess because it's easy and it's what we're exposed to in 99% of artwork across mediums. But I really admire you taking the time to discover what actually resonates with YOU, as always thank you for sharing your artistic journey it's so inspiring!
It took me years to learn you can clean up your clay before you bake and afterwards with acetone or alcohol to wipe off dirt. Love how your clay dudes turned out. Also the portrait in your sketchbook has gorgeous shapes and texture.
The sketchbook portrait looks beautiful 😍😍😍 Your reflection about drawing and painting older people is so interesting and valid, I feel like I only see on social media portraits of gorgeous young women with super filled up lips and perfect face, but to me it looks a bit soulless.
I’m also an art student and I just want to say I love what you do and how you express yourself! You are such a comfort for me and so inspiring. Keep doing you! ❤
Great video as always! Absolutely love seeing what you are working on at home and bits of your outside school life…but I also love seeing and hearing about what you are doing in school! You have heaps of talent and are so inspiring! ❤
me inspiras un montón, adoro tus vlogs. Me ha encantado la reflexión del retrato y de como cuando pasa el tiempo empezamaos a reflexionar sobre otros temas. Muy bonito retrato y reflexión ^^
i TOTALLY feel you about the polymer clay! when i started working with clay i used sculpey. i mostly made jewelry which was more flat like you were saying, but doing any kind of sculpting was so difficult! i use air dry clay now for that kind of stuff and it's so much easier to work with.
I love how you styled the sweaters, Paloma! Soooo cute! I'm excited to peruse the Organic Basics website 💖 I also love the heart-shaped mirror above Frida on your wall. Sooooo beautiful.
I love your videos and been following for a while. What I notice when you are drawing from a reference from your phone is that you get interupted by your phone going into screen saving. I actually turned that off completely and turn on screen saving only manually. But you could consider switching the settings a little bit too!
yes i hate it 🙃 i used to switch the settings to turn it off but then i would forget to change it back and i would wonder why my phone wouldn’t lock after a while 😭
