I'm sharing your opinion. I have ordered and go buy Sledge it on this Sunday. But list what to check or what to do before first run or what to check after battery pack change, is like christmas shopping list. But its superb work again. Yesterday i tried to find any proper foam for front bumper upgrade and some o-rings in our garage. But there was nothing, i have to visit some hobby shop for it. I want to be prepared :-D. Ordered TRA5040 (20milion silicon) together with the truck for central diff. Also i think that e-revo dusty motors cover can fit on Sledge. But its just optional.
Still haven't figured out the wide left steering maybe reset the servo. I'd probably add some padding to keep the shock towers piercing the body. But so far so good did my first double back flips today so very excited! Keep up the good info!!
If you reset the end points, make sure TSM is off first. Ive found the Traxxas Link is the way to go when using TQI controllers, without it you have to go through a menu with dozens of button clicks and its a giant pain to get right.
@@rcilluminati26 I didn't think about the tsm I just got the link yesterday and it makes things much easier. And I can slow down the maxx for my daughter lol
@@rcilluminati26 think I figured out that long left turns today lol think the front axle was slowly going out because I just snapped my front right one. Sucks no one makes axles right now
It happens, they make so many that theres always some mistakes. Its very good to co over everything when you get a new RC. I actually prefer RCs that are sold as kits so I can build myself.
Hello and please, which exact size of O-rings did you used? 10mm outer diameter and 1,5mm diameter of rubber? Something 12x3 is too much? I rather buy more variants. 10-12mm diameter with 1,5-3mm thickness of rubber.
The ones I used were 2mm thick. I think 12mm diameter is a bit too large to fit into the cups. I smaller but thicker one would work pretty well too as it would sit deeper into the cup. Good idea to get a few sizes and experiment. You just want a bit of side to side play so its not too tight
Traxxas was good about sending me some O-rings, but I know it’s only a matter of time until I break another pin and lose it. I wish they’d offer a ten pack or something.
Thanks again.
Now I know which screws I have to tighten.
Another 3 days to wait......
Another great video on the Sledge,i have decided to get one myself so now in know what to check before running👍🇸🇪🇺🇸

I’ll add that to volume 2, I’ve seen it happen enough that it’s worth mentioning. Mine are fine so far
I wanna get myself one but idk if to get it right now or wait it out till Traxxas fixes some of these issues
Nice one man. Good tips
I received it and my pinion cover was lose ! I was shocked ! Why there is no quality control check before sale it !

@@rcilluminati26 Thank you for the response. Sure, 3mm thick will be so much maybe. I let you know after the weekend.
@@rcilluminati26 I have bought 10x2 and 12x2. Another diameter was not i hobby shop. And we will see :-) 11 mm diameter they don't have.
