i've been shadowing and it's really fun :) and i get a good idea of the environment that i will one day HOPEFULLY work in. i just walk in and asked and they told me to call them back and i got to go!
yeah I went to the walgreen's pharmacy and walked up to the pharmacist (who technically is a manager) and asked if they let students shadow and he said he had to check with the board and his manager and he have me his card and told me to call back and ask if it was possible in about a week. so when i talked to him on the phone we arranged a time for me to come in and shadow him. i had to sign a confidentiality contract and then i stayed for a couple hours.it's great if the pharmacist is nice! :)

Did you ask the pharmacist to shadow or a manager? I'm thinking of trying my local Walgreen's pharmacy to volunteer or shadow.
does nepotism exits in pharmacy?
