I have cried due to a video game only two times in my life. The end of the Mass Effect series, and at that crescendo of music at 19:06 while listening to those Allied planes roar overhead. This game is an all time classic.
I'm rewatching this in 2022 because I never realised how good this game is, especially the story. I wish that I was able to understand English earlier so that I can enjoy the game entirely right the first time I'm playing it. I hope that I can play this great game someday for one more time-no, probably several times. I still have my PS2, but I lost the game years ago, dunno if I can manage to find a replacement. You content creator guys really did a good work in documenting gameplay so somebody like me still can enjoy reliving the good old days.
You can probably download a torrent of this game and burn it to a CD. Although I remember that back in the day you had to "unblock" your PS2 to be able to play non-original games. No clue of how that works, I was too young to understand at the time, but that's how things rolled back then.
Unfortunately not. That Wii got given away, and even if I found the disk, it wouldn't be worth that much to me now. But the experience, the music, it's a priceless relic of my childhood that I still come back to. Being able to look back on it is worth more to me than anything else. Still... I wouldn't shy away from being able to shoot those helmets for five bucks again. Huxley still hasn't given me my damn money.
@@firebird_0-1 well I'm sorry you didn't find it and that your Wii got given away but we all made happy memories with the game. And I'm pretty mad that Huxley hasn't given my money too.
You know I'm very lucky because I got the actual game a long time ago and I still have it and it's 2024 so I play it a little bit but one part is too hard for me so I just enjoy the things that I can on the game
Oh God, great times playing this on PS2 and later on PS3, the main theme that starts playing at the end of the mission just bring tears to your eyes, reminds what an great game this is, and what an great soldier it makes you feel.
I loved this game as a kid wat annoys me is ur Corporal when Dix became Sergeant. u killed more Nazis than anyone else, did more damage to the Germany Military than a normal soldier, and saved ur fellow soldiers. and yet command gave Private Guzzo 2 promotions to the rank Sergeant and not the Corporal who did far more than Guzzo
Looking back at the franchise in it's early years it used to be more about stories and single player campaigns instead of entirely being about Multiplayer.
One of the most under appreciated games I’ve ever played. COD:BRO made me cry for Brooklyn (RIP Bronxie) and this one struck a few tears considering how hard this mission was and thinking about those who were lost irl with the theme blaring hard. They don’t make games like these anymore.
Don't mind me just remembering the old days after the disaster of Vanguard. Used to play this game with my friend on his PS2, we often struggled with the melee sequences but then we found it out and played the campaign together to end. The funny thing was at the maze level in the ending there was a bug sound after entering the mission end cutscene that just made us laugh.
Watched the whole series but I finally have to say something. Does anyone else hate how the Thompson looks in this game? Especially the very end? It annoys the hell out of me
Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 along with Black Ops where the Pinnacle Point of Call of Duty. Everything passed that has been downhill and the WOKE garbage that was Call of Duty World War 2 was the nail in the coffin. RIP COD
I never appreciated how vast this game was spanning multiple points of the end of World War 2. Probably why this was their final entry for the World War 2 era.
This was an amazing game. I wish they would make it backwards compatible with the xbox one so I can play it again. By far the best cod of all time. This one was peak single player fps games of its time, right up there with halo 2.
In retrospect it's weird how this was the only game that had detailed explosive planting sequences, and had the closest form of irl artillery adjustment of the time.
I think these were specifically made for the Wii Mote in mind, since it had motion controls they made you act out the gestures to these quick time action sequences. The funniest one by far is the CQB quick time events where you had to flail the wii remotes around like a dumbass, and physically steering Vera in the SAS missions was so jank but pretty fun.
Its weird, I remember that, after the bombing scene, there was a character (can't remember his name) who was yelling "You better run, we did it!". maybe was another cod
I enjoyed watching this being played, but the timeline, frankly, really annoys me. In "The Corridor of Death", the ending implies that they'll just not be able to back up the Polish who are fighting on the hill, yet "The Mace" takes place, or starts, at 5 A.M., while "The Corridor of Death" started at 2 P.M., meaning unless "The Mace" is suppose to last 9 hours in actual time, it makes zero sense to me. Furthermore, the beginning of this mission implies it takes place after both "The Corridor of Death" and "The Mace", yet magically starts out an hour before "The Corridor of Death", which lead into "The Mace", which in theory should lead into this. Did no one who worked on these games make sure the timeline worked, or am I missing something obvious? It's been annoying me a while, and when they go out of their way to list the time the action starts before the mission, the least they could do is make sure it makes sense. How tf does Guzzo go from PFC to Sergeant in 2 days?
Because the sergeant dead
And he is the highest rank that time
At the time, rank went from buck privates->private first class->corporal(w/technician grades)->sergeant->& so on. So Guzzo was the highest ranked member after Dixon's death.
Nichols - Corporal
