Nice video, but don't use channel locks to tighten. Channel locks are used for round items. A crescent wrench is used for items with flat spots like a nut. Channel locks will strip the nuts.
My guess a coupler wouldn't work on galvanized pipes if have rust and corrosion on outside and if do then imagine what the inside. Look like . I have galvanized pipe leaking and below it concrete surrounding pipe and when removing concrete to use a coupler chipped off concrete from pipe and it also took material from outside of pipe so making the integrity of pipe worse ! So better to do right and put new pipe ( water service line ) and PAY OUT THE YING YANG for replacement !
@@TappPlumbing I just fixed a cracked galvanized pipe with JB Weld (6 minutes to set and 4-6 hours to cure) and self-fusing tape. No leak. I did purchase one of those pipe clamps on the internet.
Fantastic video for emergency repairs when there is no budget for replacing lines. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the kind words and watching our video!

Definitely should not have put that in the video, great point! Thanks for watching and giving some great constructive criticism!
Who can afford tens of thousands of dollars for a single wide trailer, though?
I am not sure what you mean by this?
@@TappPlumbing it costs so much for plumbing for people who live on social security and in a 50 year old single wide trailer...
I understand you now . I know the cost of everything is astronomical. I hope you some family to lean on when absolutely necessary.
