Thank you for posting this. My grandparents lived in Big Bear and we would always go up there and at one point we lived there for a good 5 years. Watching this took me back and brought back soo many good memories. 🫶🏻
I'm so excited y'all are taking a trip to my hometown Big Bear Lake California 🐻👍 I'm excited to move back up there. As soon as my husband gets out of the military
This brings back memories. I lived in Running Springs from 2004 to 2016. I commuted between there and San Bernardino every weekday, a lovely time of being alone with some music before getting to work for a day of drudgery. And then there was the calming commute home with music and the great landscape.
Am I missing something? I see a lot of people are scared of the drive but nowhere did I see anything alarming? It's like driving through any mountain/pass?
Thank you for rthe video great view. I am going to Big Bear Lake on Friday May 5 that is Cinco De Mayo Day haha. Did any of you get your ear pop when going on this elevation road trip? It simlar to traveling to Lake. I heard now now it going to take longer to get to Big Bear Lake because there is a Road construction on Running Spring 18/330 There will be a delays getting to Big Bear Lake just started from Monday, April 24 until June 24. Oh well I will get theer I am riding on the Mountain Transit Routh 5 that only runs 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday two service a day morning and afternoon.
It'd doesn't matter if you are a good driver but if you haven't been drive up ever before then yes it would be scary. But i live up there all my life. So to people like yourself we would call you( flat walker ) which there's nothing wrong with that Because y'all bring the business to our hometown Big Bear Lake California 🐻 ☮️ 🐻 Hopefully you will come for a visit and take your time coming up the mountain There are 4 way's coming up And better ways of getting up there too and that means you aren't used to our mountain 🏔️🌄🏔️)

Thank you. I have cliff anxiety, but your video has shown me it's not so bad. I'll probably take 330 going up and 38 coming down.
Blessings!
Did you do it?
I did, yes. My family had a wonderful time up there. Looking forward to going again. Probably going to have to watch the video again, though
Is it a nerve-wracking drive? It looks like there are lots of drop offs?!
Yes it is!

People aren’t use to it but on video it’s different. Roads are narrow which is what scares people

Thanks for posting
You’re welcome! 💕
I'm scared to highs . We're planning there on Agust with some friends.
Do you think I can drive there with no panic attack 😢
I’m also afraid of heights and just drove it, and was terrified
How does this drive compare to driving up 74 coachella valley
Any rain up there?
