Honestly, whenever I watch your videos I always feel like your reading my mind. I’m always like this is exactly how I feel! Honestly, if you have the superpower to mind read I would genuinely not be surprised. When you explain experiences that I feel, it makes me feel comforted with the knowledge that someone out there gets what I’m going through. Regarding this video you explained an experience that I wasn’t able to put into words clearly for myself. So hearing you explain that experience means so much to me. Thank you 🧡
thank you SO MUCH for this video! I've been having physical symptoms lately and it just made it look like all of my progress vanished! I got and stil get so worried when I feel them! It's terrifying! This video helped me a lot, it's a very exhaustive process of just trying to convince myself these are just the anxiety and the OCD, but I'll get better. One more time, thanks!
hey i understand how you feel just dont focus on the thoughts and also try to write it down and change your focus and you can also reach to a love one you trust for help... sending you lots of love and light
It’s okay! Try to stop thinking about it, the more you think about it the more you give it power!!! The thinking is the problem, try to pretend like you don’t care and it doesn’t matter to you! Every time you think about just go yeah whatever don’t care, and then carry on with doing something that keeps your mind busy
@@rileyrussell7333 thank you for the Answer! I‘m doing better now and the idea of being a pedophile is Not Even scary anymore, it would be cool…. Accepting your fears and doing ERP does really help 🙌🏽
While I watch your videos I hace the thought that HOCD it's to hard and it would be easier just to do what my thoughts tell me, and I got really anxious
Your videos have truly helped me but lately I’ve been feeling so emotional numb this feeling of fear and anxiety is all I honestly feel to the point where I’m scared that it’s not ocd any more and I’m honestly just really scared so if you see this help pls
Chrissie, have you heard of people going into psychosis because they find the ocd so traumatizing? Or they end up coming up with really bizarre thoughts to make sense of the OCD because they don't understand it and are so distressed by it?
@RONNOCK hey, yes ive been struggling with this a lot recently. I feel like its similar to the false attraction but then the opposite, like its ocd giving you “proof” that you arent attracted to your preference. It really sucks. Like Chrissie said, when it starts to manifest so physically its really hard not to believe it really is proof. Hope youre doing okay though :)
@connorrnb Can you elaborate in that more? Cause most of the time I felt like I'm aroused by mi intrusive thoughts and sensations but I can't enjoy them, but then my mind tells me that it's because I'm represing it and I'm in a point where I starting to believe that it's all real
Hi Chrissie great vidieo, when I was young i was convinced I was psychotic. and always looking for symtoms. Now at 68 I am convinced I have alzheimer's or some form of dementia. and i keep looking for symtoms to prove it.
OCD really doesn’t care!!! My dog had to be rushed to the ER just this week and I was having rolling panic attacks over it so my chest was starting to get really tight. I have obsessions about heart attacks and while my poor baby was at the vet I was having MORE panic attacks bc my tight chest must be me having a heart attack obviously which was making my chest even tighter!!! Even though I was worried about my dog the “what if?” starts to creep up bc that’s a known physical trigger of my obsession. And if I’m having one then I obviously DON’T have OCD so that means all my other obsessions including the Pure O ones must be true too blah blah blah and it just explodes. There’s no line it won’t cross. There’s no time that’s not inappropriate for it. I have all kinds of physical symptoms and I’ve done really well with obsessions with ERP but OCD will take ANY opportunity to create doubt.
Yesterday I saw Leonardo DiCaprio s aviator movie just to know if it's relatable.. And... It's not for me apparently lol 😅😁 Ocd has a wide spectrum I guess
I have ocd since im 8! Than i got depression when i was 19 and i was diagnosed with bipolar. Took bipolar meds for 15 years and now they say im not bipolar well spme say i do have it some say i dont but i am severly depressed from ocd which fuels the idea i am bipolar and i need a mood stabelizer so how am i supposed to get out of this if not even the psychiatrists know what i have . I feel like im a lost case
I wish I had discovered your channel earlier. Thank you for another great video, Chrissie!

How are you feeling lately?
@@Nicolas14215 lately I've been better! Still worried and anxious but a little better! Thanks for asking!
@@clarinhamulticoisas That's amazing, what's your OCD topic?
I once got hiv tested and convinced myself I had misheard the nurse when she told me it was negative
I am so anxious and I don’t want to be a pedophile ! But so much proofs it. I don’t want to live anymore, I think I don’t deserve to live anymore

And also what does it mean when I start to believe the thoughts but there is still no physical or really and mental attraction

Rachael I don't know about psychosis but I do understand about the 'traumatizing' part.
Can loss of attraction also be part of the physical symptoms for ocd?

I feel this. My mam got rushed into hospital and all I could think about was OCD. It made me feel like a total piece of crap.
I don't get the groinal response which makes me feel like it's not OCD
I’m looking for a therapist in my area who understands my condition. Any recommendations?
