Sure. (^‿^) But it kinda depends on what you're using to make the vids. So, at least I can tell you what I do (iOS, macOS, iMovie).
The issue with audio is not actually related to recording, but rather the software for editing in the case of iMovie.
1. You can use either iOS screen recording (if you want emote menus and stuff to show up), or the in-game video recorder (if you'd rather have better resolution without visible menus. Both will record audio fine.
2. Before importing to iMovie (or similar app), change the format of the video to one supported by that app. For a list of file formats supported by iMovie, see this link --> support.apple.com/en-us/HT209029
- Note: you can use apps like VLC, Handbrake, or simply use QuickTime (I use QuickTime and just export the audio)
And that SHOULD be all it takes.
If you would like to have the sound effects WITHOUT the regular Sky music, you can play a "song" that is just silence on the music player in the background while playing Sky. In the game, you'll have the headphones on to indicate that, but the audio recorded will only be the sound effects (instead of the annoyingly loud Valley music, for example). Hope that helps a bit. ♡ (^‿^) ♡
