    As someone who was raised catholic and other christian denominations I am glad I reverted to Islam. I took my shahadah this year a month before ramadan. I now found peace and structure that I needed in my life. You could say my life got easier but I am tested everyday. Allah tests those who he loves because it will bring us closer to him. Alhamdulilah. Prayer is a meditation and a 1 on 1 with Allah to give thanks and to ask for forgiveness. I love to pray every day because it keeps me focused on Allah.

      Salam Abdullah! Thanks for sharing your story habibi, I'm glad you found Islam and are among a group of people that are very honorable. Which are those who found the truth using logic and belief despite all that life threw at them.

    Yes; the more accurate translation of the Arabic word "deen" is "way of life", not "religion" (especially religion defined by modern-secular society). May Allah guide and bless us all. Welcome home brother, wassalamu'alaikum...

      @@ThereIsNoGodbutMohammad You misunderstood. This is because Quraan was revealed to Prophet(SAL) in 7 different Ahruf (plural form for harf). For those who are unfamiliar with Arabic langauge, it basically consists of Noun which is called “Ism”, Verb which called “Fi-il” and all the rest are “Harf” . Secondly, the Arabic language does not have “Harakaat,” that is, the markers which guide the Non-Arab reader how a word should be pronounced. The original Quraan did not have diacritics(Harakaat). It was added later for easy recitation for Non-Arabs.

    • @ThereIsNoGodbutMohammad
      @ThereIsNoGodbutMohammad 3 года назад

      @@faiahippy4683 I did not misunderstand. The oldest manuscripts of the quran do not have the diacritical marks - those were added later by someone. Here is an example of a manuscript without diacritical marks: ruclips.net/video/HmUEub1O5FU/видео.html
      If there are only 7 ahruf, how are there 37 different qurans today? Here is a video: ruclips.net/video/EpsnXMZ5lEE/видео.html
