I was lucky enough to be handed the keys to the Huracan Spyder and take it for a quick spin around the block, and even in Strada mode doing low speeds, this thing was AMAZING to drive...I can only imagine how insanely epic it would be on a highway or a track for that matter.
Which is funny because both the huracan and the aventador are holding on strong as they inherit everything from the gallardo and murcielago. The aventador in my opinion is as lamborghini as you can get. I wonder what the next v10 and v12 lambos will look like.
I have 3 things to say. 1- he picked the wrong color by him self because if you hear mantis in a color your already know its gonna be green 2- its nothing to do about the style of the car I think it looks beastly in real life 3- and the car has more acceleration than the aventador but not faster
It does on every track I've seen them race on. Aventador is so heavy - yes it pulls and eventually will beat the Huracán - some before (SV) some after the quarter mile depending on mods, but overall the Huracán is better on the launch and in the gearbox than the Aventador IMHO... stock these cars are very close on 1/4 times.
Let me summarize the video: The car is awesome in every way, but they still manage to come up with minor subjective downsides in order to end the review with a sad and disappointed tone.
It is, but it is definitely not a murcielago. I mean, it is faster, corners better and is MUCH greener than the murcielago, but it doesn't have that magnificent V12 that roars like a thunderstorm.
Hammond's sentiments about the Huracan not being special for a Lamborghini is quite applicable to many new super/hypercars right now, not just the Temerario

And not to bash the Lambo because i also love it but it is infact missing that key aspect a supercar should have. The Ferrari had styling and sound beyond comprehension, the Maserati had an orgasmic note even though it lacked power, and the lambo just sort of lacks what the LP-570-4 kinda had which i felt was a raw powerful feeling car. I'm tired of cliche motorists stroking their egos by hating on the Huracan. 'It's not as scary as other Lambos. It's not as beautiful as other Lambos'. Get out of here. It looks beautiful, and it goes like hell.
The thing about the common man is that they're most likely not going to see a Lamborghini very often, let alone drive one. The Huracan as of today is probably amongst the highest selling and most ubiquitous car for Lamborghini along with the Gallardo. Now being Hammond, who as you've seen just drive a whole bunch of Lamborghinis will probably inevitably have that opinion of the Huracan. I'd probably may or may not say the same thing if I had the opportunity to drive multiple Lamborghinis in my life. That being said, I did once have an amazing opportunity to drive a supercar around a track. Once. It was in fact the Huracan. My verdict? Let's just say if there was any day in my life I could relive, it would easily be that one.
Ladies and Gentleman may I say that if you are in traffic riding around in this "entry level" Lambo you are going to feel special because everyone is going to be looking at you, even in places that these type cars are common. With a spirited less than 3 second 0-60 time and top speed of 200 MPH the car is plenty fast and it looks just fine. These people are a bit spoiled. Ok, time to cut the grass....
I agree, in my area, the best car i have ever seen is a C7 stingray. But my brother said that he saw an Huracan on the highway today, and i am absolutely furious that i wasn't their to see it and hear it.
I drove that car in vegas on the track. It is pretty fast but I thought it felt twitchy and unstable. The 458 that I drove that same day, on the same track was a true marvel.

I was lucky enough to be handed the keys to the Huracan Spyder and take it for a quick spin around the block, and even in Strada mode doing low speeds, this thing was AMAZING to drive...I can only imagine how insanely epic it would be on a highway or a track for that matter.
Hammonds reviews of the Huracan and the Aventador make me way sadder than they should
True
Which is funny because both the huracan and the aventador are holding on strong as they inherit everything from the gallardo and murcielago. The aventador in my opinion is as lamborghini as you can get. I wonder what the next v10 and v12 lambos will look like.
I have 3 things to say.
1- he picked the wrong color by him self because if you hear mantis in a color your already know its gonna be green
2- its nothing to do about the style of the car I think it looks beastly in real life
3- and the car has more acceleration than the aventador but not faster
Adrean Howard it doesn't have better acceleration than the aventadore 😂😂
It does on every track I've seen them race on. Aventador is so heavy - yes it pulls and eventually will beat the Huracán - some before (SV) some after the quarter mile depending on mods, but overall the Huracán is better on the launch and in the gearbox than the Aventador IMHO... stock these cars are very close on 1/4 times.
Callum Penman well shit
Adrean Howard
4- Arsenal
Let me summarize the video:
The car is awesome in every way, but they still manage to come up with minor subjective downsides in order to end the review with a sad and disappointed tone.
Because British. They review their flawed jags and Aston’s and they are always brilliant
I saw one on the road a little while ago and I fell in love with it. More so than any other lambo ive ever seen
Well, I've seen a Huracan in person and my jaw definitely dropped.
I’ve driven one
I think it's more exciting and better looking than the Gallardo
I agree
I disagree
Donnie johnson Have to disagree on that...
I agree
It is, but it is definitely not a murcielago. I mean, it is faster, corners better and is MUCH greener than the murcielago, but it doesn't have that magnificent V12 that roars like a thunderstorm.
Hammond's sentiments about the Huracan not being special for a Lamborghini is quite applicable to many new super/hypercars right now, not just the Temerario
0:57 when you open a door in minecraft
Pff Hammond talking rubish about Huracan styling, it looks great and way better that its predecessor.
ah u see becuz lambo is suppose to look mad and cool but the huracan isnt
+Laurynas S. But like Hammond said "It's not jaw-dropping gorgeous... unlike the other Lamborghinis".
+Sebastian Lim Just look at it at 7:00, it looks epic.
+Laurynas S. ya i agree it looks superb but its not as crazy cool looking as it should be
Laurynas S. It's not all about looks buddy
0:24
2015: it's brand-new from the ground up
2023 forza motorsport: Built from the ground up
And then at 2:02 says engine is a heavily 'reworked' version of the Gallardo. So I guess not fully fully brand new 😂
damn the huracan is 8 years old i thought it just released yesterday . damn man time flies so fast :(((
1:10 that shift sound from 1 to 2. love it
carwashgaming beautiful
It’s 8 year old car now
I think it has aged quite nicely especially considering how boring cars look nowadays
I remember watching this as a teenager and man it feels incredible to finally own one. Special car.
What do you do for living? Ill come work for you rn
@@gjorgji9339 Was in IB for a couple of years out of uni but right now I just optimise trading algos using a lot of calculus, non linear ODE systems etc
Is it just me? I think it looks stunning.
"A Long time ago on a car-show in a galaxy far far away, I tested the Lamborghini Huracan... And I didn't really... Feel anything special."
The final episodes of top gear were really getting somewhere with the editing
The Aventador is still better overall! This is just the Aventador's little bro!
And the Gallardo's son.
you are comparing the aventador to a car that costs 2x times less?
The gallardo came before the hurcan you know
danielshwarts Xx_dankputin A.K.A. I knew that!
Gary Rich wasn't talking to you
freaking love this car damn
As far as looks go this is my favourite car of all time, I just can't stop staring at it :)
In the last shot of the car, I love the way it is possible to draw a perfect curvy countour line from the front bumper to the rear of the car. Specially because the car has a very angular shaped body. Gives it an incredibly beautiful stance.
Why can’t we have this top gear back
Guys, it ok, there is the new serie on amazon tv soon
i came here right after hammon's review of the huracan performante from season 2 episode 7 from the grand tour.
Andrew Samy i did same lol . I still have it paused
I'm with Hammond on the looks. Everything looks great except there's just something about the back end...
Whenever I watch some of the old TopGear reviews I feel like I went back in time to which whatever the car they're reviewing is, the music, the editing, the video quality, it all screams mid 2010s
Lamborghini doesn't make cars, they make fighter jets.
dude... youre on drugs. that car is perfection!
I agree sir, I agree!
Lamborghini has gotta be my favourite car company by far
ehrm... no
+n300zx931 My family owns a Huracan and i drive it quite often. Along with the huracan we have had a Ferrari 458, Granturismo , gt2, and a couple others. But hey, the future is here i suppose and all that being said about raw cars i still love the gtrs lol. Its all in the beholders eyes.
Comrade um ok. Sounds good man.
I think it’s one of the best looking Lamborghinis ❤️
This is actually my favorite Lambo design. It's simpler but very aesthetically pleasing.
You are blind. Sorry
no u
@@GOLDENEYEALyou're one to talk.
The music right at the end is phenomenal
Its not hurri-can. It's ooor-a Kahn.
so it's pronounced with a Spanish accent.
I'd say more of a latin accent, since you'd say the same in Italy. But the name is Spanish, so yeah.
double ''LL'' in Spanish is prounced as a ''J"'
***** he said 2 L's combined .... not 1 but 2
I said double L
The Aventador will always be the best looking Lamborghini
Huracan Performante looks better imo
I don't understand. The huracan looks amazing, along with all other lambos
I don't think it looks amazing either. The aventador looks way better
Still better than the Bugatti’s they’re bringing out now
It's ugly that's it, aventador is a real nice lambo.
Oh look a 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus.
Ahahahahah are you really comparising a Lamborghini with an Audi? Hahahaha thanks for make me laughing hahah. (I'm Italian and Italian cars are a LEGEND for example Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Maserati,ecc..)
Luigi Ballarini Lol im so funny I forgot to laugh... well if you were intelligent enough, you'd realise that the Huracan has the same chassis, engine, gearbox and electronics. So it is basically an 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus with a Lamborghini badge.
+Hassan 504 Yea I Know this and do you know also that after volkswagen group bought Lamborghini the 2015/16 audi's r8 have engine, chassis, ecc of Lamborghini? The german can only buy, not invent.
Luigi Ballarini Because Volkswagen has the finance to do so.
+Luigi Ballarini didn't the Germans basically build certain rolls royces
Shame they didn't show Richard in the Miura in the compilation.
Hammon got that right. The car looks as awesome now as when the tested it. However, it has always been a godlike design for me. The car is special
perhaps the most beautiful car I have ever seen ...
I feel like this car would look better if it had a more angular design style like the Aventador. Probably just me.
Jia L. it's not supposed to look like the aventador
I’ve seen this when it came out. I’ve come back to feel the way I did the first time I hear those last sentences from Hammond, because I did feel it that way. Today, I look at the Huracan and I think it is one of the best looking cars out there. So simple lining, still a Lambo. Forever an Aventador enthusiast, though I think Lamborghini is going for some different styling in the next gen...
Seen one of these on a motorway, awesome looking thing in my opinion!
I'm tired of cliche motorists stroking their egos by hating on the Huracan. 'It's not as scary as other Lambos. It's not as beautiful as other Lambos'.
Get out of here. It looks beautiful, and it goes like hell.
nice Lamborghini I love the coulor lime it is my favourite coulour too!!!
I got a prius ad before this
I miss you hammond 😔
I miss this trio😢😢😭😭
To many Lambo fanboys here. Not even kidding.
too*
+Flaw Whoops, thanks for correcting me. :P
idk man i look at any lambo and it instantly reminds me of a child's toy car, pagani cars now that is some beauty
vs GTR fanboys
Ladies and Gentleman may I say that if you are in traffic riding around in this "entry level" Lambo you are going to feel special because everyone is going to be looking at you, even in places that these type cars are common. With a spirited less than 3 second 0-60 time and top speed of 200 MPH the car is plenty fast and it looks just fine. These people are a bit spoiled. Ok, time to cut the grass....
+hightech346 LolOloLolOl What better way to say it.
I agree, in my area, the best car i have ever seen is a C7 stingray. But my brother said that he saw an Huracan on the highway today, and i am absolutely furious that i wasn't their to see it and hear it.
If you don't like it, you can give it to me. I'll gladly take it
Anyone notice the front number plate is EV 350kg and the back is EV 351kg
I drove that car in vegas on the track. It is pretty fast but I thought it felt twitchy and unstable. The 458 that I drove that same day, on the same track was a true marvel.
aventator: AHHHHHHHH
huracán: ohoh.
My favorite looking Lambo. Stunning
💯
I thought the very same thing the first time I saw the Huracan. It's too tame.
OrganizedGamesta it has to be more tame than the previous years.. it is 2016 it has to flex a growth in tech and refinement
*it is 2016 it has to flex a growth in tech and refinement*
Tell that to the P1, the LaFerrari, the 918, the F12, the 488, and so on.
The 488 is pretty tame as well. It's more of a gentleman's car, rather than a true Ferrari.
He's right. Could someone please explain to us how they went from the Sesto Elemento - which is literally a frame of Carbon Plastic strapped to a 600BHP V10 - to this tame Aventador/Gallardo crossbreed?
says that; then it's roar is louder than anything else,, it's just as loud as the deafening gallardo ffs xD
0:44
Don't forget the
Bianco Opalis
1:22 It outlived both of these
6:57 i would feel special in the traffic even with a C63, not talking at all about Huracan
you would feel special because you know it is expensive, but the car isn't so special itself. at least that's what he feels.
@@giuseppedeluca9666 well, when you test hundreds of supercars, you can say that, but we, pathetic people, feel special even in a Nissan 350z🤣
@@shotgun6160 You don't see a lot of people buy sports cars, let alone supercars. So even that 350Z will get normal peoples' attention.
"an enormous pair of gentleman balloons" 🤣
Top Gear is shit without Clarkson
+THE Lucky Dawg DRGS it's true
+THE Lucky Dawg DRGS He was still with top gear when this review was made lol.
+Ethanmeister no shit sherlock...
ramsesramsesramses Well thank you for confirming my astute observation Dr. Watson. Because, of course, you can't say that "Top Gear is shit without Clarkson" when there hasn't yet been any Top Gear episodes without Clarkson. But from now on, Dr. Watson, I'll have you speak only when necessary.
Respect to the reviewer for actually having an opinion.
let's be honest
the only reason you'd buy a huracan would be that you couldn't afford an aventador
Aventador > Huracan
Aventador > Reventon
Aventador > Murci
AVENTADOR IS AWESOME
Now way better than the Murcielago.
Better than merci? You’re trippin
What kind of drugs did you take
