I’m sure no matter where you live or what they’re called, for most kids it’s their prize possession.. just because it belongs to them.😊 I figured out when I was 5 or 6, that my silence was quite valuable when it came to the parties my brother and sister would throw when my parents were away.😆 They were 11 and 14 yrs. my senior. My big brother over time would ask to ‘borrow’ it all back.😂 So.. I would eventually give up on my extortionist ways.. as it really didn’t pay and my piggy bank would ultimately be empty.🤣 Thanks for another fun video Wendy! I love how you always figure out a way to make what you envision. They all turned out great!❤

One thing I learned working at a bakery making a fondant pieces is to always make two of everything because you dont know if the one piece is going to work. I would have made the bank look like a safe like the ones that banks have since the discs stick out. It reminded me of a bank safe.

Hey, with TEMU in the UK now, E6000 is much easier, and cheaper, to get ahold of 😉 I like this mold, it turned out really cute. I actually really like the spotted effect the slow cure resin gave. 😊

This is great! I love the hippos but am just amazed by your money box design from the bud vase mold. Very successfully thinking outside the box! Strange coincidence- last weekend I was inspired by your silicone inlays that you made from fondant molds/sheets. I had to try them. I looked around for other “stuff” to use with any leftover silicone. I arranged a bunch of coins to make a texture inlay. Thank you so much for the awesome inspiration!

I have been using deep pour resin recently, i found it frustrating at first as I am very impatient, now I know I have to wait I put it in a room out of they. I love that everything as no bubbles . I love the effect of the colours of the hippo. But the mould you have made is amazing. I love watching you make new things, they are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing 😊

Love them, I wish my brain would work half as well as all you resin artist. I find resin very stressful, I want to hurry and get everything finished. I need to take my time. I just started my resin journey a few weeks ago so maybe I will learn to slow down and take my time. LOL
I actually love it, the only thing I would say is that most countries it’s an offence to use even old coins like that. It may be different in the UK how ever I’m from Australia where I know it is and our laws come via the uk. But I really loved it.

Just got myself a pressure pot 😊 do you have a video on using them? And do you fill your molds all the way up? Wondering about spill over. And LOVE THIS
I don’t have a video specifically on using them, only a brief guide. Top tips for a pressure pot are 1: don’t take pieces out until the full cure time of the resin. 2: line the bottom with an old silicone mat 3: only go to 3-4 bar of pressure 4: make a tear stand of some kind to increase capacity I hope that helps you. There are lots of tutorials on RUclips to help though 😀💜
Hi Wendy, loved the money boxes. giving me ideas again. I need to ask what to use to make my resin a cream color. I have a commission to do a square box jar in 3 colors and one of the requested colors is cream. I am thinking the base color should be white. Just confused what to add to get the creamy look. Thank you for any consideration. Hoping that all is well with you and yours.
I’ve been making cream recently as well 😀😀 I used a white base with a tiny amount of dark brown and a little yellow, I do stress on the tiny part though 😀 You can always add more but not take away 😀😀💜

Making your own, how about a jar mold? If there's a way of getting a slot in the top. Can just be unscrewed to get the money out?

Just got myself a pressure pot 😊 do you have a video on using them? And do you fill your molds all the way up? Wondering about spill over. And LOVE THIS
I don’t have a video specifically on using them, only a brief guide.
Top tips for a pressure pot are
1: don’t take pieces out until the full cure time of the resin.
2: line the bottom with an old silicone mat
3: only go to 3-4 bar of pressure
4: make a tear stand of some kind to increase capacity

Hi Wendy, loved the money boxes. giving me ideas again. I need to ask what to use to make my resin a cream color. I have a commission to do a square box jar in 3 colors and one of the requested colors is cream. I am thinking the base color should be white. Just confused what to add to get the creamy look. Thank you for any consideration. Hoping that all is well with you and yours.
I’ve been making cream recently as well 😀😀 I used a white base with a tiny amount of dark brown and a little yellow,
I do stress on the tiny part though 😀
You can always add more but not take away 😀😀💜
