Yelstins term as president were some of the most peaceful years in history as far as russo-western relations go and Navalny can finish the de-centralization that Yelstin started, bringing democracy to Russia. He has a lot of supporters too, hundreds of thousands.

@@robi9942 I don’t know exactly, but from what I know my conclusion on what happened in Yugoslavia is that westerners offers leader of every republic that they will back them, making everyone more willing to push harder in their demands and diminishing chances for making compromises for peaceful solutions, but on top of that there were major problems in Yugoslavia internally economy crashed, hyperinflation raged, and when that happens what people often do is look for who to blame, and that blame often becomes collective

@Noah Young ehh it seams like you dont use words properly, to win or lose war is one thing, to be able to postpone surrender longer then everyone in world expected is other thing. To win or lose has very exact meaning, especially when one side surrenders and accepts surrender terms of other side
