Comparing with the preseason, Lin is doing better and better. He hadn't played basketball for nearly 2 years. So it's happy to see he still has the ability to beat his enemy.
Lin is really getting comfortable again! He’s starting to trust his game again the past 4 games. The teams noticing it and he’s impacting them on both sides of the court.
Great game for Jlin again, especially in a back to back game. Good to see him making assists and excellent defense. Guess this is why he is rewarded with 21mins. I wont complain about his mins as long as it's reasonable. At least for this season, I would rather he plays 18 - 23mins every game, stays healthy and performs effectively.
@@micahhlc especially in today's nba it is hard to get a charge call. Naturally, the refs favor the offensive side, the one with the ball. To get a charge you have to be playing good defense and be putting your body on the line for your team. Takes skill and effort
There are nba games where a single charge isn't called for either side, and Lin by himself drew 2 this game. Just him, not even including anyone else on his team or another team
3:53 that is just a great team defense effort. Trying to deny the mismatch down low and then the quick switch and getting a charge. Just fantastic defense.
I know everyone was getting on the coach cause lins not playing much but what I'm seeing from the hawk team is respect and the coach getting him back into the groove
2:18 He should probably stop doing this considering how injury prone he is. This man drove directly to the basket, jumped on a 6'8 guard, made contact, did a 180 and landed hard on his lower back. All while still recovering from an injury that ended his last season. Ever since he blocked D Rose he lowkey started to play reckless like him. Those 2 suffer from Deku syndrome like that anime My Hero Academia. Always using too much power and hurting themselves in the process.
Wolf Man Lyken true but when you think of it, this is lins natural play style. He’s a gritty slashing guard that does whatever he can to draw contact and get to the line
I been to all the home games this season and the refereeing is horrible this year for the HAWKS at home. But Lin is looking more focus than ever this year.
He used to, they mostly bench warmed him then traded him. Plus there's no room/ need for him when the entire warriors roster is stacked with elites. He's better off playing for a team with less talent.
My biggest problem with the Hawk is that the players lack enthusiasm, passion, and they just look like they are nothing fun. They all look like they are playing for themselves or going through the motion, including Lin. So, I blame management for everything wrong.
I dont understand the word tanking. Whats the point to play games when you are not trying to win? I dont mean that they should go 120% every game but i dont agree this tanking for next season shit. Getting into playoff will definitely be more beneficial to the team to grow with the experience. Also basketball is about determination to win i am worried they would lose that will for having this tanking excuse.
They couldnt get to the playoffs if they wanted. I suspect john collins can probably play but they're holding him back so the team can still play near full capacity but rack up more Ls. There's still a need to lose to a degree to ensure a good chance at a top pick, being the worst team is just not as guaranteed anymore. And i believe you can see that in the teams play because they certainly are trying to win with the line up LP rolls out, and i dont expect them to be the worst like everyone else does when the season is over You don't resign plumlee and make your biggest free agent signing Jeremy Lin coming off an injury if you plan to win. They need another good year of drafting (hopefully just 1 not 2) and some free agent signings before we can start talking playoffs
i know a lot of lin fans are in love with lin. but sometimes being toooooooooo "protective" isn't doing any good to his reputation. just please be a normal sport fan who actually ball! lin doesn't need baby sitting.

Will Ham He stopped doing those fast break layups as frequent since he left Houston. He naturally lost his a little of explosiveness with age, but the injury did him in. He’s playing a more controlled game, to reduce injury.
Agreed. I remember the stats. JLin was second in the league in success rate of finishing around the rim, behind only Lebron. The stat was from either 2014 or 2015 I think.
@@lyhthegreat Weaker teams that don't have a real playoff shot spend the season tanking (intentionally losing) so that they can get a higher chance of securing a good draft pick ( a potential super star player).
