    That was a cool tour !
    It's funny that they're called Microswiss, are an American manufacturer, and all have Russian-like names and accents 😆

    I work in a machine shop and it’s nice to see an American manufacturer making printer parts. It also takes a good skill set to make good and consistent parts.

      Yeah, true. These guys take pride in their work and make a more reliable and consistent product due to all the QC and attention to detail.

    Love it dude. Great video and awesome little insight into how these are produced. Easy to see why they aren’t the cheapest around.

    Thanks for the tour or MicroSwiss. It's every bit as awesome as I thought it'd be. It still aggravates me that all of the new fast Klipper machines seem to have their own proprietary high flow nozzles and they're all slightly different. They should have all adopted the Volcano standard so we could immediately have access to quality after market nozzles, abrasion resistant nozzles, etc.

    Hey Nathan!
    Been watching your channel a lot lately!
    Are you doing a video on the V3 KE model soon? I’m looking to buy my first 3d printer and would really like to hear your input on that machine vs the SE.
    thanks! Keep up the good work!

    Great insight into actual manufacturing. Love my MicroSwiss CR-10 hotend. Glad they finallystarted selling _complete_ solutions with fan shrouds as I had to shame them into it with my own design for the CR-10 on Thingiverse.

    Looks as if the machine display indicated 7 hundred thousandths instead of 10 millionths. Maybe it's a metric conversion. I agree that is quite a precise process.

    why are they called micro swiss? cant see any connection to Switzerland. these guys are clearly easter european. Sad how a company brands its self with a name like this.

    • @NathanBuildsRobots
      @NathanBuildsRobots  9 месяцев назад +1

      They use Swiss-made lathes that are specialized for making components for watches. The machines used are informally called “Swiss” machines

    • @reyalPRON
      @reyalPRON 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@NathanBuildsRobotswow.. thats like me calling my kitchen german because it has german made appliances... still pretty sad to portray to customers that their goods is made in switzerland imo.

    • @G53X0Y0Z0
      @G53X0Y0Z0 8 месяцев назад

      @@reyalPRON - I guess you have to know the machining industry to understand. Swiss lathes are made in many places and are a major style of lathe. When many companies start making toasters that are universally called German toasters, you can buy a few and call your kitchen a German kitchen.

    E3D with its Revo is so much more advance and better i have had the NG extruder and its a pain in the ass they give you a cleaner stick because you going to need it but after a few use's unclogging the NG that way you have to take it apart and unclog it pain in the ass and there nozzles are crap Mircoswiss not worth the money garbage, and i have had three of them just incase i had a defective one and nope all the same junk people just stick with E3D or Creallity's direct drive extruder thats much better stay away from Microswiss garbage.
