The last scene between Chloe and Dan is so powerful. I can't hold back my tears. When Lauren German cries, I can't help but cry too.

I didn't catch it the first time when Chloe asked Lucifer for a few hours with Dan. (I wrongly assumed she was asking Lucifer to leave so she and Dan could have some privacy.) Lucifer was planning to return Azrael's blade and Chloe realized that she could no longer see Dan after that. That's why he suddenly disappeared.
I am glad she kept talking to him after he disappeared.
Chloe's relationship with Dan only improved after their divorce!
The way that was written and played out was nothing short of beautiful.
The fact that Ella was able to piece it together all on her own still blows my mind.
it started with the frog coming out of nowhere+her feeling that god does not listen anymore+Amenadiel´s talking about that he would know if something happens to the world.
I know right! I was not expecting that at all. He figuring it all out on her own was totally unexpected. I thought Lucifer or Chloe was eventually gonna tell her but her piecing it all together did not cross my mind at all so it was very exciting knowing she finally knew the truth.

Chloe seemed so crushed by what she almost did to Lucifer! That shows such character growth.
This is a much more evolved Chloe than the one who betrayed Lucifer in Season 4, nearly sent him back to hell, then offered excuses when caught!
Of course, if not for a couple of painful episodes early in Season 4, would we even have Eve around now? Lucifer and Chloe grew so much while they were separated. Each was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the other!

That fight scene between Chloe &Lucifer was great....
And that Dan & Chloe scene is where I started crying in this last Season ( and never stopped)
Be ready for a rollercoaster of emotions from now on.
Lauren's acting was *SUPERB* in the aftermath of that fight scene, and even her _"demonic"_ sounding voice during the fight. She really sold us on Chloe's character growth as she sat there sobbing in Lucifer's arms! (Preparing us for the ultimate performance in 6x10...)
@@ChaplainDaveSparks both of them were great in their performances this season. It's unfair that no one of them got an "Emmy" for their acting. They deserved it 👍👏
I remember watching it saying Rory doesn't need the blade to kill Lucifer. Her wings are literal weapons. Like she could easily kill lucifer with them LOL.

if Rory would kill Lucifer with her wings he would end up in heaven or hell and he would be able to come back now that he has wings. Azrael´s blade is the only weapon which wipes out angels completely from existence. Being killed with Azrael´s blade makes it impossible to go to heaven or hell (or earth)

Rewatching their conversation between them , I realized Dan's regret he doesn't feel like he was a good father to trixie

Before the scene of dans purgatory rather than a hell loop, and then all the other scenes…i spent the whole season and the season break expecting dans guilt to be based on the incident in season 4 where Dan gave information to the people smugglers father, trixie went to visit lucifer while he was dating eve, when the assassin showed up, Eve protected trixie, and Dan was freaking out over inadvertently endangering trixies life…THAT was what I was expecting to be the guilt

3:29 I was waiting and waiting, spent the between-seasons-gap and until Dan was shown in a NON tortured purgatory…
I was 100% expecting dans deep guilt to be based on his inadvertently endangering trixies life back in season 4…when he passed information to the father of the guy with a broken back, who then sent an assassin to the penthouse to kill lucifer…and since trixie snuck out to visit, Dan panicked, cos he knew the assassin would be on the way…

I'm so glad that you haven't watched the trailer, because this fight was in there. And there were few fan crazy theories about why Chloe is fighting with Lucifer and even tried to stab him. But no one reminded about the abilities of Azrael's blade to affect humans to kill. And this is so simple explanation to Chloe's rage. It reminded me Dan's rage in s2 when he was in the same situation.
And I didn't expect from Ella to find out the truth by herself. Also I think it's a fine callback to s3 ep7

I've watched it already and it still feels unreal. I'm in denial that it's actually over and we're not getting any more seasons. It also seems surreal bc it actually happened and I watched but Everytime I re-watch the scenes it seems so real like I can't believe it.

I knew and always thought Ella would be piecing it all together and she did! I did feel for her too though when she felt out. The Chloe vs Lucifer fight was badass but she realized it after. 🥺 my feels everywhere. I love them so much. Loved your reactions once again and can't wait for more!
