    Happy New year, I managed to get out ice fishing and setup on some brush piles loaded with crappie and bluegill. An underwater camera for ice fishing is almost invaluable because you can watch every fish bite your jig.

    Went bank fishing today, got up to 58 degrees out….didn’t catch a thing, not having a boat sucks! Walking long distances to spots without catching squat sucks! Oh well, better luck to you all.

      boaters dont always catch fish too. imagine towing all the way to the launch, paying the launch fee, heading out to spots known to hold fish and its just one of those days you get nothing.

    Hello davis. So i live in arkansas.my local lake i fish here i do real good on brush piles in the summer. I just recently went last weekend and there are no crappie on any of the piles. Where did they go??? The piles are in mainly 15' deep. But they are not there. Any suggestions on finding them,? There are no docks on the lake. And the deepest part of the lake is probly 30-40' i just started crappie fishing last year so trying to learn there patterns.

    That video camera is interesting. I find so many things on side view/Livescope that I wonder "what the heck is that?" How well do you think it'd work down here in SE TN? Not so much for catching as you did here, but to get a better understanding of what I'm looking at

      Using a camera in a boat can be difficult, especially in any waves. There is a pole attachment you can get to look under docks with thus camera

    Hello Davis
    Don’t know if you remember me, I had the ABnB on canyon lake. I’m in the process of purchasing a live scope and would like to know what you would recommend.

      Hi, yes I remember you. The most widely purchased livescope package is the Echomap 93SV with lvs32 livescope transducer and box. If your looking afor a bigger screen I would recommend either the Echomap 106 or the GPSMAP 1022/1222 units with the new livescope plus transducer lvs34.

    Would that reel be a good match on a 10' jigging rod? Or would you prefer a spinning reel on one?

    • @FloppingCrappie
      @FloppingCrappie  Год назад +1

      I'd prefer a spinning reel like the Piscifun viper x, but I know some crappie anglers prefer an in-line reel like the one in the video

    That’s fantastic info and fishing. The video camera view is dynamite but the link says $1000. Is there something that works that’s much more affordable or odd that wasting money. Maybe buy a quality unit used? How? Thanks so much. Hopper breakfast was good. :-)

      @@FloppingCrappie thanks for answering. Any differences other than screen size.

    • @FloppingCrappie
      @FloppingCrappie  Год назад

      @Robert Bohner some of the cameras are full HD 1080, while others are only 720p. So you have to be check the item description before buying. Also the large screen sizes (10"+) are full 1920 x 1080 pixels, the smaller screen have less resolution. For example, my camera can film in 1080 HD, but my 7 inch screen can only display 720p. Which is why the screen recording looks a little graining.
