Paramore has been my favorite band since I was 11 years old. I'm 27 now. All of this time knowing them, I have never dedicated a song to anybody by them. I never wanted a bad memory attached to something that I love so much. With that being said though, this song is to my big little sister, Chelsea Leigh Pierce, who is no longer here with me on this earth due to suicide. I now feel her love through Paramore which will keep her spirit alive 💚🧡

They sang this song at their concert that My Fiance and I went to this past weekend, and it was so touching. I loved it, even before she started singing Landslide. I am so glad I got to experience it. She sings very well.
In hindsight, I see that little high five between hayley and taylor....and i wonder if that was the beginning of 'Liar'. The creativity of mixing such a personal song like In the Mourning with a classic like Landslide....these three will never cease to amaze me. This was first concert, and of course first but not last Paramore concert. Getting the opportunity to hear this and Renegade for the first time before it was released is one of my favorite memories of all time. I was about 8 feet back from the stage and sobbed the entire time.
I lost my grandmother today, and I really felt the lyrics. I have so many regrets and things I wish I would have done differently, and I didn’t want to believe she passed away. Paramore has always been there for me in times of sadness and joy alike. Thank you so much ❤️

Yesterday (06/feb/2023) Hayley said she and Taylor wrote this song when Zac left the band. I always related this song with the mourning of death of someone (and I always will), but now, knowing that it was because the death of a friendship, it hits different.
I had listened to this a few times before going to the concert, and I liked it. But listening to them play it live and hearing Landslide in the middle of it...I almost cried. It was so much more emotional and meaningful. Amazing song!

The Self-Titled era was one that we knew would be important for us but also one we’d eventually have to move on from. We’ve written and re-written this countless times and there’s just not a good way to put it… Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us. To be honest, this has been really painful. This is the second time he's left the band, ya know? Like I love Jeremy but having zac back feels 100% more right. Does that make any sense?
