    If you watch this whole concert, which I do repeatedly, you'll notice that the camera work gets more and more cinematic and these two songs are shot like a documentary. It's actually beautifully done and matches the gravity of the songs perfectly. The final shot couldn't have been choreographed, directed and lighted better. Even Hayley's hair cooperates cinematically.

    What a shame
    What a shame we all remain
    Such fragile broken things
    A beauty half betrayed
    Butterflies with punctured wings
    Still there are darkened places
    Deep in my heart
    Where once was blazing light now
    There's a tiny spark
    Oh glory
    Come and find me
    Oh glory
    Come and find me
    Dancing all alone
    To the sound of an enemy’s song
    I’ll be lost until
    You find me
    Fighting on my own
    In a war that’s already been won
    I’ll be lost until you come and find me here
    Oh glory
    (Here)
    What a mess
    What a mystery we've made
    Of love and other simple things
    Learning to forgive
    Even when it wasn't a mistake
    I question every human
    Who won't look in my eyes
    Scars left on my heart formed
    Patterns in my mind.
    Oh glory, you will find me...
    Dancing all alone
    To the sound of an enemy’s song
    I’ll be lost until
    You find me
    Fighting on my own
    In a war that’s already been won
    I’ll be lost until you come and find me here
    Oh glory

      Wagner Nogueira I agree but she still is capable of hitting the right notes and everything, singing at least 12 songs a day in front of thousands of people, especially when it’s songs that require strong vocals, really wears you out

    Honestly I can’t believe its been 4 years since I was in the crowd for this! Whats incredible is if you watch the full live performance they had technical difficulties the whole way through where the sound was only coming out of the front stage speakers. So most of us in the crowd could barely hear which is why the crowd looks dead because the music was too quiet to dance to. Everyone just stood and watched. They still managed to put on one of the most incredible performances I have ever seen. Despite the circumstances everyone was captivated. I always end up coming back to youtube to watch it again, its crazy to hear what the performance would have sounded like if everything had been working. Amazing either way!

    usually i don't like much christian music (though i go to church) like idk if it's the overly simple/cliche lyrics or the instruments or the singing but anyways paramore can make christian music that's actually really good ??

    • @zavs350
      @zavs350 6 лет назад +17

      percabethisawesome same here. I even get really turned off when I learn that the song's meant to be religious (this is mostly because I'm an atheist and is forced to go to church); and while this is still the case in both songs, and their whole performance, I must admit that it's still pretty damn awesome.

    • @MyNamesRevenge
      @MyNamesRevenge 4 года назад +6

      @@zavs350 i'm also atheist, specifically because when i was younger i was forced to go to church and just learned religion wasn't for me. but that doesn't stop me from absolutely adoring both Let The Flames Begin and Part II. even though they do have religious messages behind them, a big part of music is to give it your own meaning, and that's what i've done with these songs. they mean a lot to me despite not being religious, i feel you could do the same and just respect that the band views them with that religious lens while viewing it with your own as well.

    • @zavs350
      @zavs350 4 года назад +3

      Revenge That’s what I did at first, trust me. But until now, I cant get over the shock I felt when I learned what it really meant, even felt extremely silly for not getting it. I stopped listening to it religiously (pun intended) right after I learned its true meaning.
      I don’t know man, I think it’s because I’ve had enough? I’ve grown very intolerant of religion, but is still forced to go to church, worship, etc. Being in a catholic country doesn’t help either. Music, just like any art, is open to interpretation. Hence, changing the very meaning of a song is normal. I do it all the time. But I just can’t do it with religious songs.
      I hope you understand that doesn’t mean I’m against them. I simply try my hardest to veer away from anything related to religion. I guess deviating from it is my way of respecting them. I still think these two songs are wonderful. It just isn’t for me anymore.
      PS: goodness I’m embarrassed of the grammar lapses in my 1-year-old comment. Sorry about that.
