Thank you so very much for this video. You saved me from throwing the frames away that I bought. I had never framed a puzzle before today, and I fought with it til I almost just trashed it all. Finally with some much needed guidance from your video, I succeeded, I literally hung it, stood back and about cried from how proud I was to not have given up. I am so thankful I found your video. I am now a subscriber!
Oh my gosh. I’m so glad you succeeded Jamie! Yay!! 🙌 These kind of frames are so incredibly frustrating. You should be proud!! I almost tossed mine too after the ordeal of getting the castle puzzle in. Lol. Sigh. I’m so glad this helped. Thank you for watching and for subscribing!! I appreciate you. I hope you have a wonderful week! 🤗❤️
Thank you for this tutorial. I love the way it looks framed. Now I'm going to take my old credit card and get my jigsaw puzzle glued and ten framed as well. Thank you so much!
I love this display with your puzzles. Thanks for the heads up about cheap frames. I have one for the puzzle I am currently working on. It is my first at doing a puzzle for a frame!
I’m currently doing a 1,000 piece Lion King puzzle and plan to frame it. It’s my favorite, but I’d love to do more. It’s definitely going to take me some time.
The princess and the frog Awww wow that does really work! Maybe one day I’ll get back to making puzzles I miss them so much great job wendi and thank you for teaching us
Awesome tutorial very informative definitely gonna to use it we have several Disney puzzles that need glued and framed sledgehammered that like button shared this out
I have always wondered about how to properly glue and then frame a puzzle... I have always wanted to get into puzzles but need some motivation to do it... like if my wife would compete with me and we see who completes the same puzzle fastest... that would be fun! ha ha...
Great Vlog, & great job, it looks amazing on the wall, thanks for sharing that with us, it might be just me but I was even impressed with the Glue bottle been in the shape of a Jigsaw piece (I’m so easily impressed 🙄), Thanks again, hope your week is going great 🤗👍🇬🇧✨
“It’ll dry clear,” it’s already clear haha. I’m always afraid to pour directly on the puzzle because it sometimes leaves the shape of how it was poured. Mod podge doesn’t swap through. But I’m thinking the puzzle glue is thinking and more glue like.
Just bought the Cinderella one can't wait to start it.they were buy one get on the frames a few days ago and then I used $20 off $50 I and used my 50% coupon I saved $100 it was a great day.
NixPix Yay for sales!! 😀 ugh. I hate these. 😂😂 haha. I have these frames because of a sale Michael’s was having. Haaa. I’m seriously thinking of just paying to have the castle framed and then waiting for a sale to get the poster frames I like better that my other 750 pieces are in. Ugh. Haha.
If you buy a slightly larger frame, a 20 x 30, the excess brown cardboard ( included in the frame pkg ) looks nice as a kind of matting behind the puzzle and it is so much easier to restructure the frame. I was surprised the puzzle did not need blue on both sides. These in the video look nice tho......
Maybe try putting in boiling water to make them more pliable. Make a jig that once heated can have frame pieces out of water placed on to widen gap. Once cooled should easily slip over more fragile plastic/glass/puzzle with out cover.
I used my kitchen scraper that l use for scraping up dough when lm making bread. Its bigger and wider especially for larger puzzles its perfect. A like things that have a double useage. Unfortunately l cant find a frame for my 18"×24" puzzle anything. I may have to make one.😂
I've had this one so long. More than 10 years. It came attached to puzzle glue I had purchased. You may can try amazon to see if they sell plastic spreaders.
Hi Wendi I just finished assembling and glueing my puzzle ( 21 1/2 x 15 ) I’m trying to frame it and I was looking to frame it in the fat frame that you had in another video that you designed the frame to I believe with stars I went to the site where you purchased them but I don’t know what’s the name of that one . Thank you for reading this 😊
That’s a size that may not come in stock poster frames. You can Google “21.5x15 poster frame” and see if find anything. You may need to get a custom frame if you want it framed. Art to Frames is my go-to when I need custom frames. They have lots of frame options including glass or plexiglass for them and sometimes they have good sales. I hope this helps Dee!! 🙂 that fat frame is a poster frame by Mainstays sold at Walmart ( I’m not affiliated with Walmart at all) www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-18-x-24-Rounded-Poster-and-Picture-Frame-Black/883230?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=3014&adid=22222222421450916370&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=547331341345&wl4=aud-1319366384141:pla-293946777986&wl5=9026884&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=883230&wl13=3014&veh=sem_LIA&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIoruP8sq-KXkv1dMuHkLP42W&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIoruP8sq-KXkv1dMuHkLP42W&gclid=CjwKCAjw_tWRBhAwEiwALxFPocF_TVjC52WxyjfyZZDYhX4wcTNEy5fm88smLh949g4nVz5p2U-D2RoCrE0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Katherine Kald Hi Katherine! I’m so sorry that happened. I’ve never had that happen to me in 20 years of gluing puzzles. If you are framing it, maybe it will flatten down when you frame it or try putting heavy books on the edges to see if that works. I apologize for my lack of knowledge on this.
I am only guessing but I suspect that you used too much glue. It could have got inside and saturated the cardboard making up the pieces. Next time try applying a thinner layer then after it has dried apply another. It should press out when framed if it isn't too bad.
How much glue do you think you used. I bought a 4 ounce bottle of puzzle glue and used the whole thing on my 300 piece puzzle. It’s my first time ever glueing a puzzle. I feel like I used too much

Yes you can absolutely keep the poster board behind it.

Have you ever tried prying the metal rails apart a bit to make room for the puzzle thickness over the paper thickness it is meant for?
I have not because they are made of plastic and will break instead of bend. I wish they were metal. It would be much easier to manipulate if so.
Maybe try putting in boiling water to make them more pliable. Make a jig that once heated can have frame pieces out of water placed on to widen gap. Once cooled should easily slip over more fragile plastic/glass/puzzle with out cover.

I just put blue painter’s tape on the back of the puzzle. It’s cheaper, less messy, and just as stable as glue.

Yes I did and it was so hard for me! lol! Never again but it's lovely.

Maybe you could put some kind of lubricant that would seep into the puzzle on the frame so it doesn’t stick when you slide it on.
