Every time you think he's going to miss a line or a bar he pulls it back at the last second, always hanging onto the edge of the pocket by a finger. One of the most heroic things I've ever seen

I don't know if you've ever played a show before, or if you have if you've played one drunk... but being drunk isn't the easiest thing for a vocalist, at least not in my experience. The most important thing is keeping in time and putting on a good show, so I can understand the dude not saying every little word and syllable. Appreciate it for what it is, not what it isn't.

I was at this show. It was in a historic bank where almost every surface was marble or granite. You couldn't comprehend anything but cacophony but still an incredible effin' evening.
