Unneeded Drones are best fed to a Beegonia flower from Magical Bees/Botania, or otherwise just chucked into the void. The DNA extractor from Gendustry does exist and is craftable in GTNH, but it is such a slow machine to run I cannot imagine that it is the intended, let stand only solution to getting Liquid DNA for what few recipes require it. If you absolutely require a giant stockpile of random drones at some point you can just add storage upgrades to the drawers that store/void excess Alveary drones. Never mind the fact that storing up to ~2 million drones per Alveary that way would create a backlog no sane amount of DNA Extractors could realistically work through even by the time you crafted multiple stargates, that amount of drones per Alveary will surely prove enough. There are other ways to get krypton, but they're all awful. Liquid Air distillation takes far, *far* too much liquid air to be worth considering, though even discounting that aspect completely a yield of ~3 seconds per milibucket at EV is complete garbage. Naquadah Gas is LuV, Gas Sparging is LuV (and an anthill worth of rabbit holes besides), TRISO Pebbles are post-T1 fusion, Excited Plutonium fuel is post-T2 fusion, and depleted single rod fuel cells make liquid air distilling look like greased lightning in the *best* of circumstances. If you want to use Krypton for EBF/Volcanus smelting, you need the bee. And considering you need said bee for Xenon bees down the line anyhow, might as well get some use out of them earlier on. To give an example of what Krypton is good for, recall ~135 seconds per LuV motor in the second best case of LuV/HSS-S/Radon Volcanus? LuV/HSS-S/Krypton Volcanus is the best circumstance (in IV), needing only ~96 seconds per motor. It even saves you power, since 16 ruridit ingots require ~10M EU worth of radon to be smelted, whereas the Krypton only costs ~5M EU. In addition to the power the EBF/Volcani saves from not having to run a recipe for as long. The road to getting Krypton bees is long, but the magic bees you get along the way add to the value of the (inevitable anyway) detour. The Thaumium Dust bee in particular is on the path to the Salis Mundus bee, meaning infinite free Salis Mundus and - using a very simple crucible recipe - basically Balance Shards at the same time. It's also one part of the Quicksilver bee, which is one way to automate quicksilver for your chemical bath in ore processing if you don't have (or want to use) Shimmerleaf IC2 crops for that purpose. In terms of EBF smelting there is nothing Neon (or Neon bees) can do that Krypton bees can't do better, and using the same infrastructure. That said you do need a fair bit of Neon to craft Void Miners down the line, so don't forget to grab a Neon bee for when you're ready to start crafting those. Having to delay that project on a lack of Neon would be tragedy on the highest order 🙃. The only situation in which you should see regular wafers being used for a craft post-Phosphorous Doped Wafers is recipes that specifically require regular wafers, meaning solar panel-related stuff or basic wafers from Galacticraft. As soon as you have a cleanroom you shouldn't be using regular wafers for anything else anymore, so if an LPF requires them you've got some faulty recipes you need to correct. The biggest use for magic wax is in turning Salis Mundus back into Balance Shards, since it has the exact aspects it needs for that recipe - 2 Praecantatio and 1 Ordo. Why, yes, the Salis Mundus comb does produce magic wax, which is why that bee functionally doubles as a Balance Shard bee. The recipe for an Oblivion Frame involves a Dragon Egg. So, yeah. Not hard when you're neck-deep in bees, but not cheap either. A Portable Hole focus would do a lot to make accessing that wiring space a lot easier. If you process the Lead-Zinc solution that Indium produces as a byproduct you actually get your sulfuric acid worth of sulfur back. It's a closed loop, you just need additional water and *a lot* of oxygen to turn the sulfur back into sulfuric acid. Long term, as far as I'm aware, you only need to set up Rare Earth III. RE I and II don't yield anything with any actual use that you don't get from RE III, although that might change in the future. Also don't bother with the industrial strength nonsense, it's not worth the bother for a bit of extra yield from something that is literally passive from bees. So, to correct Three's multitude of errors RE: quantum/crystal circuits and advanced SMDs: The moment you can craft any quantum circuit you can craft the entire line of them, from EV to ZPM. Though whether you're able to afford them is a separate question. The reason you can't jump to crystal circuits is because they start with a Crystal Processing Unit, which - long story short - requires Europium, meaning a T1 fusion reactor. Advanced SMDs you can get in IV, and I actually recommend getting them in IV to make the dozens of Quantumprocessor Mainframes needed for Assembly Line faster/cheaper(-ish) to craft, which does involve getting Samarium. But turns out you need Samarium for LuV components anyway, it's the Magnetic Neodymium of LuV tier, and as such it's fairly easy to get as a byproduct from Rubracium Ore from one T3 ore vein (rather than having to set up Platline 2.0). Rubracium itself, fun fact, is basically useless.
DNA extractor isn’t the only way for liquid dna as the bacterial vat can get you some Krypton/neon/xenon can also come from the space siphon Crystal circuits are also gated by the LuV circuit assembler, but europium does gate it further

@@Threefold. Yeeeeahh... It's kinda daunting, I'm trying to come up with a block pallete to use for the new base. I've been using your Nomifactory series as a little cheat sheet :) Got tank in 150 hours thanks to it
The Assembly Line itself technically doesn't require much in the way of EBF processing capacity, you can craft the multi with 8x EBF easily enough. LuV components - motors, pumps, pistons, etc. - are a very different story however. Ruridit in particular is a nightmare, with a second worst case scenario (LuV power, HSS-G coils, Radon fed EBF) spending just shy of 20 *minutes* per LuV motor. Not seconds, *minutes*. Not to mention the 690 million-odd EU said EBF will need. Compare this to the second best case scenario (LuV power, HSS-S coils, Radon fed Volcanus) spending a mere ~135 seconds per motor, and a mere 33.5 million-odd EU per motor. This is why I recommend people upgrade to Volcani before getting an Assembly Line - you will want them anyhow, might as well get them sooner and cook up all of that tungstensteel and tungsten and whatever else you need faster/cheaper while you're at it. "Nothing a bit of AFKing (or a lot of AFKing, but time is relative when you're sleeping through most of it) doesn't solve", you say? You can set up passive power production and set up passive/massive batches of ingot smelting, yes, but Ruridit is just the beginning. Where IV tested your circuit crafting capacity before allowing you to advance into LuV, LuV and beyond will test your EBF (and Vacuum Freezer) capacity at basically every point. Even just getting to ZPM without Volcani is pure misery, trying to cook Neutronium in regular EBFs I don't even want to imagine. Or the power supply required to cook the stuff in MEBFs. So, to clarify: Volcani are 120% *faster*, meaning 220% processing speed compared to an EBF, on top of only consuming 90% the EU/t a recipe would normally consume, and being able to smelt up to eight recipes in parallel. Since you're running recipes 2.2x as fast, for only 0.9x the amount of power consumed per tick, you end up paying ~41% the EU cost for a given ingot recipe in a Volcanus than you do using an EBF. That is already amazing, but parallels make this even better. Running 4x recipes in parallel is basically the equivalent of a perfect overclock - 4x output, 1x time, 4x power cost in both cases - which is great for avoiding EU inefficient imperfect overclocks. And with the speed bonus you won't miss said imperfect overclocks anyway, stuff will get cooked quickly enough. Given some finicky stuff recently discovered with specialty and regular bee produce not being produced at the same rates, despite being the same listed percent chances to be produced, I have no idea how many bees you'd need to keep a Volcanus active 24/7. Mind you that as important as it is to keep a Volcanus supplied on pyrotheum - if it runs out the recipe it's running will be voided, and the Volcanus will get a maintenance issue to boot - it's trivially easy to set up redstone automation so that Volcani will only run when their pyro input hatch is maxed out, which will guarantee 3200 seconds or ~53 minutes of runtime even if the pyro hatch is quad shared and zero additional pyro is input. This is well above the single longest EBF recipe currently in the pack, C1 Infinity Dust into Hot Infinity Ingot, which you would A: Never use in any halfway realistic scenario, and B: A Volcanus would smelt at 2.2x speed even if you did. Set up proper automation for your Volcani, and you need never worry about Pyrotheum being more than an unexpected delay ever again. That said it would be nice if EBF smelting wasn't delayed at all, given how even Volcani require multiple minutes per LuV motor under the second best conditions. In that respect my advice is simply to set up automation for Pyrotheum Dust, at least insofar as being able to have AE2 autocraft a giant batch of the stuff if you notice that Pyrotheum levels are low. Your ore processing should be able to supply the raw materials, if you make sure to place miners to keep them in stock. For passiving pyrotheum dust you you've got a ton of options - Bees can passive the dust directly and/or all four components thereof, Balzereed and Nether Stonelilly IC2 crops can passive all four components between the two of them, and finally Extreme Entity Crushers can likewise passive all four components if you sag mill blaze rods to get the sulfur dust byproduct chance. Basically you've got every opportunity to passive pyrotheum, so choose whichever method (or methods) you prefer, and set it up. Each volcanus only consumes a flat 0.5mb/t when actively running, so you don't need that much income to support a fair few Volcani. For the record, you can mutate bees that require X temperature in the void world so long as you provide them said temperature, be it through Shifting Seasons of Hygroregulators/Fans/Heaters. A mutation only needs to take place in a specific dimension if it specifically requires that dimension.

I thought so too but you can kinda barely see that after he opens the pattern terminal again the recipe doesnt have lubricant anymore so he probably removed it and didnt show it in the video
You can still get Xenon combs without the Mega Apiary, buuut only by manually solving escritore puzzles, so it's not at all worth it. I guess you could replicate it. There's a similar way to skip and get Oganesson a tier early, but that's ZPM. Hivecynth + Hibeescus is one way to print pristine bees, but if you only need pristine bees and not to turn princesses from the mutatron, alveary swarmer, etc from ignoble to pristine, then just buying watery/rocky hives is good. There's a table for "hive drops" in my bee guide on the gtnh wiki that documents all the peculiarities like hives that always drop pristines or that drop steadfast instead of valiant. You can add blazing electron tubes to a circuit board and put it in the carpenters to make them faster. I would just use the UU matter recipe for data orbs. You have LPFs now and you have a crop robot, so getting spaceplant to make lots of UUM should be very easy. I also unironically think it's a better time investment to set up replication than to set up the monazite line for samarium. The UUM half of replication can be scaled very easily if you use crops + LPFs, which are the best choice until the multi. The actual replicator half though doesn't really scale well since any replicators you make will be obsolete when you unlock the next tier, and the multi is very gated. Also, remember that Advanced SMDs are NOT better than basic SMDs. They're at best a sidegrade. You get more and need less per recipe, but they are still significantly more expensive relatively speaking. So you could argue they are better because they also lower the crafting time, but you can also always make more circuit assemblers

Really love the Dr Diddy and ThreeFLD thing you got going on
I like how your Diddy answers you. "Hmmmm."
your like to dislike ratio is insane. i have never seen a channel that has such a supportive fanbase. keep up the great work
From each episode to the next - we need BIGGER and FASTER machines :D. I'm in early LV age and the more i watch your videos of GT the more i'm into that i should be put to mental institution. What i've gotten into ;). Awesome video - keep up great work. Shoutout from Poland.
a fantastic video to eat my breakfast too! Thank you for the video!
I REALLY like the longer episodes. And I wish those keep coming!
cannot wait to see three go through the research for ichorium. 😁
edit: go to the asteroids field for some early naqaudah for naqaudah doped wafers and naqaudah bees, trust me rushing this is worth it. Slight problem tho, the asteroid field is nearly as resource scarce as the far end asteroids, so uh good luck if you do attempt this.
As always, beautiful long episode, lovely
Man my day gets so much better when you upload three❤❤
All my greg tech blocks and items turned into a troll face texture
Thx greg

Hi threefold, I really like your videos, but what happened to the collection project?
you can buy water pristine stock princess for coins in market tab. it might help with pristine stock😀
What keyboard do you use now?
Hey Three, do you plan to start Botania? Like not soon but eventually?

Three I saw your chicken tracker. Take care less the poultry begin to seize your means of production.
Bee episode!
Beefold 😂
Maybe you're unaware but a famous rapper named P.Diddy was recently raided and arrested by Home Land Security in America on alleged crimes of sex trafficking, amoung other things soooo, maybe that villager needs a renamed.
And maybe people are capable of telling apart a villager in a video game from a human 🤔
he bee back
Beefold!
why. i see you have 111 raw chicken and 454 feathers, extremely important itens to keep track of
my goat
What about using a crafting card, a level emitter, an exporter and a storage bus to auto craft 256 Alveary blocks and keep them in stock (:
The only downside is using a crafting card (:
would use a level maintainer instead since it limits how much is crafted to a specific amount
Level Maintainer is that entire setup with less lag
I see threefold is a GMMK pro user I believe, I would recommend other keyboards that I like more but I mean if you like it, why would I? Hopefully you get it fixed, perhaps the manufacturer could help?
It was in fact an Epomaker TH80 Pro - Theory - Flamingo Switches :) Good news is the manufacturer is actually able to help, which is awesome :D
@@Threefold. ah all these 75% look the same- though I was never one for chasing aesthetics, always like other features ! I wasn’t actually super sure, shouldn’t have guessed. Awesome to hear that though, as a keen fan I’m glad to hear your keeb journey is going well :)
:LETSGREG:
