There’s only one TINY little problem with what you wrote above, Madam.☝️ There has never been, nor will there ever be, even the SLIGHTEST shred of evidence for the existence of the Godhead, that is, a Supreme Person or Deity.🤓 It is high time for humanity to awaken from all INANE superstitions such as the belief in a Personal God which created the Universe, would you not agree, Slave? 😩
Of course awareness too is a concept as soon as we begin to talk about it. But why is that a problem? As long as awareness undeniably exists, for that body-mind, it is the truth isn't it? It is the only truth from personal experience that cannot be denied by that body-mind.
Who is asking? Someone would have to be there to be Aware and/or to be Awake to answer this question, or any other question... While concepts arise with the I am and with all that follows after... For the sake of event, conversation and/or for the search (quest) of I am.
The Ego is nothing but the totality of your knowledge about yourself and about the objects around you that you have been acquiring since your child hood. Hence in a thoughtless state you can come face to face with your True nature. But to reach that stage you have to do lots of Sadhanas to first purify your mind and body. That can be done through Bakthi, Karma, Raja and Gnana yoga in the same order individually and also by all of them simultaneously.

You answered your own question. I think that most people who have never even heard of such concepts as "enlightenment" or "ego" or other such spiritual or metaphysical concepts are more...... well, not more but let's say purer expression or manifestation of Source than those whom are consciously seeking. Those who are "spiritual seekers" have the biggest non existent egos of all lol. No but seriously, even the seekers who are seeking to destroy their non existent ego's are equally a part of the expression or manifestation of Source. All is equal in the single unified expression and manifestation of Source. And totality of that which is being experienced or has manifested from Source is being experienced and manifested exactly as it is and could not be experienced or manifested any other way than that in which "it" (Source) is or most surly it would be. Is IS. All is the literal dream of God. But the question is, what is God? What is Source? Whatever Source or God is is that which is prior to this manifestation. Prior to all manifestation. Prior to becoming. Prior to perhaps even experiencing or knowing even of itself. What is known in Hindi metaphysics as Parabrahman or The Absolute. I love this quote from Nisargadatta Maharaj..... "I am" itself is God. The seeking itself is God. In seeking you discover that you are neither the body nor mind, and the love of the self in you is for the self in all. The two are one. The consciousness in you and the consciousness in me, apparently two, really one, seek unity and that is love.
With the advent of conciousness calibration mankind has a way to discern True from false, making use of the method it’s verifiably True that God is beyond conceptualization, consciousness, is-ness, being-ness, am-ness & nominalization. The Unmanifest Godhead is confirmably beyond description and undefinable. The entirety of Manifestation is one with the Unmanifest, subjectivity and objectivity are not different.
