I love the movie references from Fenix, and also that even he by the end is like "clearly these tales are embellished, even I couldn't have done all that". Which is funny to imagine, whether he was really that badass as fans would want, or if Protoss historians are, well, similar to Terran ones in the way tales can grow in the telling.
You got the Fenix movie references correct. It's Under Siege Black Hawk Down Rambo: The First Blood Saving Private Ryan Die Hard Commando The Rock Die Hard With a Vengeance Predator
If Fenix was in any of those movies they would've gone much differently. Lol. Would be a hell of a thing to see him storming up the beaches at normandy in his purifier body. Just spinning like a mad man and tanking 50 caliber machine guns and mortar rounds like a boss. Now that it's brought up, Black Hawk Down is an incredible testament to superior military fire power and training. Those handful of US soldiers killed like over 1000 somalis in mogadishu. Fenix would've leveled part of the city.
That's one of my issues with the campaign. You can't make observers so the enemy doesn't cloak, even on brutal. It's a layer of difficulty missing from the campaign.
I think the movie that Fenix was describing with the zealot hunting down the ones who betrayed him, one by one, was the movie "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg.

@@Poputrash What do you mean by flying student loans. Scouts have their uses. Thought though the Phoenix is a better air superiority fighter Scouts can act as carrier escorts like in sc1.
If you look for cut content, it seems scout were originaly meant to be the purifier's starfighter variant (would have thought he Taldarim would have made more sense given how much they use them..) but they were replaced by the souped up Phoenix with phase abilities instead.
just a bit of a question, do you think it is worth it to set up just vespene assimilator after you destroyed the enemy bases? if so then why did you not do it?
I cant live without the vespene assimiliator lol. anything that automates my gameplay and takes my mind off the micro is a win for me. that chrono surge tho.
when defending a chock point or holding it helps to use the moni's at the front with bat's & can's behind them, also after ulnar will you be doing endion or slayn?
Wait. Since Xel'naga are dead then why Amon is trying to keep the Temple locked again? Wouldn't it be better to let it open and then attack, leaving Artanis locked inside alone?
Ulnar still contain the passage to the void that they use to hunt him down in the void in the epilogue. Even if he is at full power at this time and they dodn't now it's there, make sense he wouldn't want themto take such an important place. (Also y'know, there wouldn't be a mission otherwise. Also the 'twist' that the xel naga are dead impacts a lot more of it comes after two mission fighting to get there.)
probably to force more deaths on the remaining free protoss. It also could be that the deaths of the troops outside of the temple are the reason for Artanis going in alone.
Fun fact: Those action movies are actually based on Fenix's real life exploits, not the other way around.
Fenix is the Demolition Protoss. He's got Total Recall and Equilibrium. He is the Last action Zealot.
Yikes . No wonder Fenix died .
Being steven seagall is the biggest insult ever

oh wow I didn't knew The protoss were watching old Terrans movies. And good job on recognizing the quotes, good job
You got the Fenix movie references correct. It's
Under Siege
Black Hawk Down
Rambo: The First Blood
Saving Private Ryan
Die Hard
Commando
The Rock
Die Hard With a Vengeance
Predator

Don't think it was black hawk down, rather "Behind Enemy Lines".
Being steven seagall . That's the saddest thing ever
LOL the fenix comments i nvr actually knew about those i laughed so hard ty for that m8
Dude, same. Such a cool easter egg :)
26:19 that has to be the most brutal marauder death ive witnessed
Wow, now I want Fenix campaign.
Bad micro Amon. Didn't even cloak the wraiths
Wraith: " I am In-vincible, that right!"

It is said that back at Antioch when the Hydralisk attacked Fenix the needle spine asked for Fenix's permission before killing him
Does anyone else miss scouts from SC1 or am I alone
En Taro Mojo
You mean the flying student loans? Sure
@@Poputrash What do you mean by flying student loans. Scouts have their uses. Thought though the Phoenix is a better air superiority fighter Scouts can act as carrier escorts like in sc1.
It's just you.

I believe that you can use energizers on Photon Cannons and Khaydarin Monliths, that would make them so OP
You can energize static defense in coop, but not in campaign.
just a bit of a question, do you think it is worth it to set up just vespene assimilator after you destroyed the enemy bases? if so then why did you not do it?
Why bother, I had more than enough gas to finish just fine.
@@JayborinoPlays I bet taco bell helpped a lot this misstion hun. You know, with all that free gas.

Centurions are by far my favorite of the front-line combat units.
GG m8 there is some satisfaction with seeing the units full of yellow circle around them energizer ftw idd and Good night

Fenix is my favourite actor
When i do this mission i just use solar lance on the prism to get the objective without even fighting it
Artanis discouraging you to attack the bases doesn't really make sense.
"the first born have not used solarite in millennia" oh and our warp prisms use solarite...
Disappointed that Fenix never fought the T-800
Not fair help me buy the canpain and unlock them
