    Love the road warrior! Very first mod I purchased and installed on my ‘21 Low Rider S when I bought it. Got the 13” vented screen as I’m 6’+ with my boots on. Even the 13” screen leaves my head totally exposed to the wind which is exactly what I wanted. I just don’t like the wind hitting my chest and trying to rip me off my bike at highway speeds. That 114 is some kinda fun after starting on a sporty!

    I use the Memphis Shades system on my 20 Bob here in Philly. I went with the regular shades vs the Road Warrior for several reasons. First was I didn't want to extend the headlight. Secondly I want to be able to swap out different shades. I have a large clear shade for the winter and a dark smaller shade for the summer.
    My favorite rides are 1.) Kelly Drive to the Art museum and 2.) Route 1 out to 32 along the Delaware to New Hope. Bob works great for trips to the Jersey shore also.

    I put the HD sub-compact windshield on my Sporty and it felt like my head was in a paint shaker. I put some lowers on and it helped..some. I took the windshield off and I just take it. lol

    I put one on my wide glide, love it! I’m 5’-10”, have a saddlemen w/ a backrest and with the forward controls. I bought the 15” but I cut it down to 10” because I lean back. Good on the highway at any speed.

    You know, that never occurred to me, to change the seat first. I don't why, but that's good advice. I've been thinking of getting another bike,it's either this bike,or an Indian Chief. I'm still on the fence.

    I have a question, although not related to the windscreen.
    I have a street bob (107) 2028 model. Watching your video, I can see youre going 40-48mph in 3rd gear, and over 30moh in 2nd gear. Maybe it's a rookie question, but I when I do that I feel like the engine is screaming, and over-revving, is it just from my perspective while sitting on it?

    I love mine but at higher speeds (120kmph +) the buffeting hitting the top of my helmet is mad. It really vibrates my helmet and causes a lot of noise too. I’ve been trying different heights up and down the forks and different and different angles but so far haven’t found the sweet spot.
    I’m on a 114 low rider s too. I have the 11” non vented shield. I’m only 5’ 7” and using a saddleman step up seat. Any advice would be welcome 🙏

    Very excited to know the fairing worked. My bike is still stock, and I'm thinking of a seat first like you mentioned. Do you think a larger windshield would be better or a vented version? Also have you thought about the handguards they sell?

    • @TheMotoJawn
      @TheMotoJawn  2 года назад +1

      Yeah definitely do seat first. I think a bigger one would vibe possibly awkward to look through. I'm experimenting with a vented one now. I'm not a fan of the handguard look but I'm sure they function well

    Like a clear windshield you never know if u may have a dog in the road happen to me a few times and a friend hit a deer and
    Survived so be all ways awareness, you can put in a 475
    S&s cam it's the best get you that grit ,speed ,and power when you get the erge ,have to change the uncomfortable seat, and may have a big brake light on the back with those little tiny two brake lights I almost want to get a Kawasaki 900 rs you can rock and roll on one of those
    And they will run forever with 110 hp and at least 100 lbs lighter then a Harley street bob,
    And a real comfortable seat and it doesn't stop at 110 but 150 mph. And cooks 0 to 60 in 3 seconds not 4 like the hog, the retro on the Kawasaki 900 rs is awsome they even seem to run better in the heat , and hogs you need a oil cooler, hogs do pick up babes, make Shure you get tubeless tires in case you pick up a nail you can plug it and keep going , with tube tires your fuc. 🧝💃🦄⚡🌴🌈
