My brother bought a 2021 (orange with black). Then, his wife bought another 2021 (black with orange) the next day. They asked me to do them a favor and asked me to ride their bike home for them (2 days in a row and 70 miles away). Do them a favor? I felt like they were doing me a favor. Lots of fun!
I bought a 21 street bob last fall. I too was coming off from many years of riding sport bikes and the street bob is my first harley davidson. I traded in my Ninja 1000 towards the street bob. Over the winter I did alot of mods to it including a SE stage 2 kit. The bike stock absolutely shreds and after riding it with the stage 2 it is an absolute ANIMAL!! I love hitting the winding roads and opening it up on the straight aways. I think I'll be hanging onto the street bob for a long time. Definitely my favorite bike I've ever owned! Great review I subscribed!
@@2.0_brittt I believe it was around $1300-$1500 at the time. Not sure what the price would be today. It all depends on what parts you decide to use and labor cost or if you do it yourself. I had my local Harley Davidson shop do the work.
I daily drive a 107 street bob lol hell of a bike, man! Love the m8 engines. Chose the 107 over the 114 only because out of the box it felt more responsive to me. The 114 had a bit more power but only noticeable hopping straight from one to the other. Felt like it had to wind up a nit whereas the 107 was more on tap. May have just been the particular bikes I rode but reguardless you've GOT to admit the softail street bob is a gorgeous bike!
I’m a new rider and I just bought my first street bike this past Saturday. I bought the 2022 street bob in fastback blue. The bike is absolutely gorgeous! I was able to take it out for a short ride yesterday and i can tell i’m going to be nervous on this bike for a while. Maybe i should have bought a 883 or a 48, but i didnt want to spend 11 to 15k on a bike only to want to trade it in for something bigger a year later. I drive semi’s for a living so i figured i can take my safety first mentality i have in regards to driving 80000 lbs and apply it to riding a 650lbs motorcycle. Hopefully i didn’t bite off more than i can chew with that 114 ci engine!
I had never ridden a motorcycle before and a year ago I went and bought a 2021 street bob. No regrets at all! I have since done a stage 2 on it and it’s a whole different bike now wayyyy better.
I think I prefer the look of the softail standard over this. But I'm an older guy that likes the classic look. At the same time though, the Iron 883 has such a cool blacked out look.
Really enjoyed your vid. After long deliberation and test rides of most of the HD range, I decided on the 2024 Street Bob. I chose this over the Low Rider S due to the value for money factor (and looks, love the Bob). In Australia the Low Rider is $8500 more, I just couldn’t justify that. Ride safe all!
I love motorcycles. HD makes so many models that are appealing. I rode the Low Rider 117 at Daytona...it pulled pretty well. But my Suzuki M109R would still easily pull on anything I rode that day on test rides...other than Sportster S ( that thing is crazy fast...just didnt like the shifting or size). I know you can get crazy power with mods on M8's...but its going to cost some bucks. I guess I think with my wallet too much.
I got mine 3 weeks ago same color and love it then again this is my second bike, the Kawasaki ZX9R I had in 2013 and just for a year so I’m still a noob lol
if the 114 is NOT enough snott for someone with this streetbob being as light as it is,then maybe look into a ninja zx10-RR or gixxer 1000, because honestly i find myself wondering how fast does someone want to go on a Harley "cruiser"...the next thing will be ppl are 'tracking' Harleys ;p
Yeah problem is in the States, they offer ABS an option but no dealer will order for you because they turn bikes so fast, they’d rather sell your showroom or one on a truck coming. It’s so odd, been to 5 SoCal dealers and they act like ABS isn’t even available
@@StreetBob-tn1ed I would imagine the performance between the two would be negligible as there's less than 10kg between them. Also the FatBob has superior brakes and suspension.

I just bought one last week, it’s very good handling motor money well spent, love back roads

Hey! Can I ask how much it cost you to upgrade to stage 2?

cool, thanks! That's honestly not as bad I was expecting, I was guessing more like 3k or something. Thanks again!@@jacobhiggins1195
@@2.0_brittt no it’s not that much and worth the money IMO. Stage 2 adds some nice lope sound and added grunt to the bike.
Just got my first Harley and I went with the street bob 114 such a great bike

Love the feedback on this bike. I just got a 23 and waiting to ride it. Started with a 22 sportster iron 883. Thank you.

Its a nice bike I wouldn’t call it a hot rod lol
But I’d buy on for cruising about
@@charlesharper7292 I ride a victory, and spank it hard through the gears, it’s more of a hot Rod
It's definitely a hot rod
#Ryde with peoplz
Is this bike ideal for mid to long miles? e.g. 150 miles per journey, 2 - 3 times a week?
I mean thats the whole tank, but thats what I do on it

I just to say opted for the FatBob over this bike.
i test rode a fatbob but thought it got blown about in the wind so i went for the street bob i think it might be a bit quicker becauce its lighter
