My son got covid when he was 3 months. His toes and fingers also turned blueish. That’s when we decided to take him to the hospital. Apparently it’s a covid symptom. All his oxygen levels and test were normal. Glad he’s okay, it was a very scary week for us.

For your cat, get her some distilled water and see if she drinks that. We see a lot of cats with UTI's and the vet I work for thinks it has to be from the water. Try some distilled water and see if that helps. Also, you can buy this stuff called hydracare for your cat and it's basically some food that helps them stay hydrated, especially after a UTI.

Ughhh Nicole driving in silence is so me whenever I change my mind at the last minute and realize afterwards that I should have stuck to my original plan!!!😩
Kai suffered from acrocyanosis which is when the feet and hands turn blue/black because his body was conserving blood and carrying less oxygen to his extremities. A baby we had at the hospital last year was diagnosed with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C), a rare illness that has been found in children who have been infected by COVID-19. Please follow-through with Kai’s pediatrician as there could be lingering effects to his heart and organs- it could have seriously damaged his heart and other organs in extreme cases. His little heart was beating so fast that his body tried to conserve the blood so less oxygen was pumped to his feet and hands causing the bluish appearance. An elevated heart rate causes MIS-C since a baby’s body works so hard to fight off the COVID-19 infection that his immune system goes into overdrive, causing lots of inflammation. I’m so relieved he didn’t present more serious and lingering symptoms, but please be vigilant and keep observing for any signs.
To see Carli & Nicole together again brings back such nostalgic memories from when I first started watching them both. Not always. It’s not uncommon for babies to have blue hands/lips/feet when they have a moderate fever. If they have normal o2 sat and cap refill with no resp distress they’re likely fine and will grow out of it.
