On average it takes 6 hours depending on how thick and how long people want their braids and they make the 😬 face when I tell them how long. At least you are honest🤗. I would love small knotless but I’m not able to afford $485 knotless. I could work and help braid to pay it off lol.

When I was younger I could do it but not anymore. Lol.

Definitely $425.... and it’s worth it. She won’t be back for another 3-3 1/2 months. So I think $425 is reasonable. Especially since it takes your hold day. Beautiful job!!💋

Yea 150 is nothing my hair stylist charging 220 for medium. And for like feedin front and box braids at the back she charges 160$ and my Braider is bomb, she stayed booked and I hate it!
I also braid hair sometimes & I feel you on the time. Sometimes I wonder if I should ask my client if they want to take 2 - 10 min breaks & a 30 min lunch like a retailer’s work shift but I think they might be offended. Standing up that long and braiding can put a lot of stress on your back legs feet & hands. But the clients don’t understand because a lot of them have never experienced hair styling for that long.
Braids are SO expensive in other countries, the most you would get this for style in my country is $80. But I love this, SO pretty. I could never sit for this long, the longest is 8 hours and I nearly cried

I'd sit for 14hours...not straight. I'd have to do 7 hours then seven another day. Ima a braider and I refuse to do any kind of braids for more than 8 hours. Some client s are like that's fine but then other are like Naw. Respect but after eight hours I'm tired and it shows. Normally for small it takes me 8 hours....but that extra extra long braid adds too much time.
14 hours are not bad at all for these braids. I rememer when i was younger and would do my braids and there were micros. It would take about a week for me to finish. And i didn't even braid it all the way down.
