Flawed Hero

This is a short film, inspired by my classic car review of the Mk2 Jaguar, produced for the Depict! Short Film Festival.
The brief was to produce a short film in 90 seconds or less.
FILM SYNOPSIS:
Flawed Hero tells the visual story of the archetypal getaway car. For decades, 1960s British saloons have been cast into the seedy underworld of the bank robber and hitman.
These cars became our film heroes, but unlike the characters they chased and took bullets for, they never chose to be our heroes, or our villains.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT:
A while ago I was lucky enough to drive a 1960s Mk2 Jaguar, and while doing so I felt like I was playing the part of the villain in a heist movie.
Inspired by the way the car made me feel, I stepped outside the usual classic car review style video I usually produce to tell the film story of the Mk2 Jag, and other cars like it.
I must admit, it's taken me a while to form a narrative visually within the one-and-a-half minute 'Depict!' brief.
I started with some dialogue, then went to voiceover, and eventually found a wonderful piece of music by Ross Bugden which spoke to the way I feel when I drive a 'character car'.
The getaway car is, to my mind, the ultimate movie flawed hero.

Stunning film Paul!
If you saw the Great British Train Robbery BBC 2 parter (it's on RUclips) the first job that crew did was '62 on BA HQ in Mk2s.
Man your sideburns I'm eternally jealous of also.!
