Today we have are going to put a Federation Fleet against a Cardassian Fleet.
I imagine this kind of battle would have happened during the Dominion War.
Played in Star Trek Bridge Commander UE18.

That's the kind of fight they'd send one of those legendary Galaxy wings to clean up.
I saw the title and I felt bad for the Cardassians.
I saw the Sovereign and I pitied the Cardassians.
I saw the Prometheus and I mourned the Cardassians.
A great battle! When I saw the Sovereign, Defiant and Prometheus I thought this would be soon over. But then that huge Hutet lumbered on screen. And Obsidian Keldons! Pretty even match!
That was a great battle! I'd love to see it the other way around.

It's a too bad that we only saw keldon's in a couple of episodes, it was a nice looking design, nicer than the galor class imo.
They really do look cool. The fins that are extra impulse engines are pretty sweet.
Might want to make more use of the quantum torpedoes against the Heutet. I can’t remember how it’s spelled correctly.

You should've had 3 Galaxy classes and a Galaxy X in that fleet, 3 more Prometheus ships and another 8 Deviants for that big bastard.
Add 3 Intrepids for fun
Cool to see the Prometheus at 2.20, flying in front of the Enterprise E and firing on the same ship as the E 🖖
This Fleet needs at least 6 galaxy class

That was one wild fight. Out of curiosity, if you'd told everyone to take out the Hutek, from the start, would that have saved some of the smaller ships?

Nice fight. Closer than I expected but the Hutet is an equalizer. The Hidekis are pretty useless but the Keldon Type IIs evened it a lot. They are tough heavy cruisers. A couple Galors Type IIs instead of Hidekis and they would be favored, perhaps, but then again the Cardies already did well in this so the fight seems almost even.
Thanks! Those Hutets would give Starfleet nightmares. Agreed about the Hidekis, they would have most likely won if they were Galors. 🖖

Hahaha... Gul Ducot was even surprised by those Obsidian Order ships. He just knew that if Thomas Riker hid behind a Cardassian warship, he could surrender.
Now he's on the Cardassian equivalent of Rura'Pente (sp?)
Time to watch the battle, but I still think that Starfleet will be victorious.
Edit: Good strategy the second time around... let the smaller ships engage the smaller ships while the Sovereign pounds their capital ship.
But damn, those Obsidian Order ships are strong.

After the destruction of the Obsidian Order, the Central Command took over the Orias System shipyards and facilities. All Keldons were brought to the same standard as the Obsidian Order ones, minus the cloaking devices. Then the Dominion arrived and tweaked them even more. The Dominion War Keldons were quite formidable, a straight match for a Vorcha or most Nebulas.
I always like to take out the weaker escorts first. They go down faster and that way they're not picking at you while you hit the capital ship
In Dominion Wars, the Hutet actually deployed Norin Class Escorts, which are more powerful 😊
I always go after the biggest ship first. Well, usually that's in STO, where you can upgrade just about any ship to the highest level. But my point still stands about going after the biggest first, while my allies go after the others.
"Order Fleet to attack my target"
I would like to see one of the enterprise ships shooting tri cobalt torpedoes along with it other torpedoes.
Plus a starbases phasers and even stronger warp core or 2
Curious if you have ever done the battle between Tomalok and Picard from TNG where Picard had 3 klingon birds of prey with the Enterprise against two Romulan warbirds? The "Shall we die together" one?
In the rematch, use the war version of the Sovereign (the Archangel).

How about a simulation of the Battle over Organia that never happened. Probably five to eight D7s vs. 5 Connies plus three support ships. Also, it's a shame you cannot command you entire fleet to fire on one ship at a time. Take out the weakest ships in order leaving the toughest ship last.

Here me out it would have been cool if we would have had a 10 minutes battle with the USS Enterprise -E and the cardassian fleet at the beginning of startrek insurrection showing that they were involved in some form of the Dominion war instead of the bullshit excuse we got at the beginning of the movie that they was assigned to the diplomatic corps fleet for peace mission instead of combat missions.

I always found the Cardassians to be the school yard bully and always seemed to pick on the weaker person aka the Bajorans and other minor races near Cardassian space. The Federation was just the victims who stood upto the bullies. On another note I'm currently playing the UFP its the Archer era and I've just won a war against the Cardassians and even invaded Cardassia Prime in Stellaris Star Trek New Horizon
All empires pick on the weak. They rather behave like the Klingons in TOS, who would go after completely defenseless worlds, which is the point. The writers of TNG found they had an issue with antagonists. They developed the Ferengi to be the Federation's nemesis like the Klingons in TOS. But they botched that. So they brought back the Romulans, but were hemmed in by their certain sneakiness so they needed another enemy to be more direct. The Borg they could only use sparingly. They needed a mustache-twirling enemy and that became the Cardassians. Later on the Cardassians became more nuanced but they were developed to be straight-up black-hats.

Not in Bridge Commander Remastered sadly. You can only do that in Kobayshimaru. Although Kobayshimaru can't handle battles this big. 🖖
Cortland is almost impossible know it's really easy I'll tell you the secret from reality, hit them hard hit em as fast as you can as hard as you can move as fast as you can those are the secrets to staying alive in any kind of battle
Could you grab an enemy ship with the tractor beam and push it into another enemy?
It’s possible with a shuttle or small ship, if your in a large ship. Quite hard to pull off though. If you disabled their impulse engines, it could certainly work 🖖

Я пару раз 10 на 10 между фидераций и доминионом такая пьяная драка была кто в каво стриля нк понятно некоторы просто тупили не пойми где ну ни че 2 часика и все и 10 кораблей фидераций потерял почти все но видно что ии не очень понимает что ему делать жостко тупит много раз один на один тупили и сливалесь хотя могли давольно просто миня расскать
You need to learn how to pilot the ships lol
How come you give your rear to the enemy? That makes it harder to fight with impulse engines out. Sometimes you have the chance to fire quantum torpedoes, you don't take it. I noticed you talk way too much too! Finally, try your best to find different angles to avoid torpedoes fired upon you. Most the time you go towards the torpedoes when you could evade them.
