    This man needs to be considered to be in the hall of fame. People don't realize that despite his great shooting skills, he was the first point guard to utilise the splitting of the pick and roll that you see in today's basketball.

      Price is one of the few I expected to make nearly any shot he took. Felt the same about Walter Davis and George Gervin.

    At the time of this contest Ellis was the leader in career threes with 972. He finished with 1719 but it’s only 22nd place because of how the game has changed

    His shooting technique is fantastic. The focus, rhythm, balance, follow through ... everything is incredible. I don't know whether he was way ahead of his time or just he was unlucky to be in the same era as the likes of Olajuwons, Ewings, Alonzos, Eatons, Parishs, Daughertys, or Malones. Very underrated player.

      He was. Excellent PG. Penetrate and dish, pass off pick and roll. Damn near never missed from the line. Too bad he was somewhat injury prone. OK, decent defender, much better than Nash ever was.

      Bullshit. He had to play in an era when defenders could clutch and grab and hold. The bad boy pistons and yes even the bulls would have guys fouls out by half time trying to guard a dominant shooter like Price.
      Just like they do trying to guard Curry, because you can’t hold and grab like the 90’s old days.

    That 24 by Price was as impressive at Hodges 19 in a row. Wow. Price is a severly underrated player btw.

    Really hated when price wasn’t put in same category of an Stockton or a Thomas. I get it. But he was so good. And he had to do too much in Cleveland most of the time. Except the few years their team was elite

      Even Thomas agrees that Mark should be in the HOF. If you invent a form of offense that is now common you should be on the HOF. He invented splitting the pick and roll from the three point line.

      I don't. Not at all. I would say it's Curry's ridiculous range that puts him on top. But from about 28 ft in, Mark and Ray Allen are right there with anybody.
