Get a cheap guitar and a cheap wah and a cheap fuzz or distortion pedal and you'll be able to similar stuff. 200 bucks would be more then enough to get you there. Cheapest guitar I have that sounds good with a wah and distortion combo was 90 bucks. I think you can score an ibanez or epiphone for that sorta money. For the pedal, get a cuvave and/or Boss DS1 and for a wah get a used dunlop GC95. Should have some money left for a cheap amp but you can also get some (pirated) music software that should help you on your way (i use mixcraft for this type of thing). Tune the guitar in open tuning and just strum while wah-ing the neighbours awake all night.

I'm not a guitar player, I don't know what a Morley is and will never use one... but man I love watching this splendid young lady playing and talking 🙏 Kanami you are a blessing
She is absolutely Beautiful & Greatest female guitar player today , only one I can compare her to is HAL - CA , different styles but both very professional !
I could listen and watch her pitch anything all day long...she just makes me feel good about life at a point where little else does...
When I have something to do at home, this and her PRS presentation are running in the background.

It's always just a bit sad to hear how excited they were for Budokan. I know they will play there some day. Kanami is such an intelligent, talented, and sweet woman. I have nothing but love and respect for her and all of Band-Maid. Looking forward to their 2024 album.
She's like Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde, without the guitar she's adorable, funny, polite, timid, give her a guitar she will transform to a Rock Guitar Goddess.
Japan has the second largest music industry in the world after the US. Japanese musicians are really talented and most play more than one instrument. Kanami played the piano for 15 years and the guitar for 8. She’s a certified BOSS!
You can easily add 10 years to each instrument.

kick ass player who doesn't show off unnecessarily for a product demo video?? I like her even more now! I only got into Band Maid recently, but what I have heard from this talented young woman (well the whole band actually, but I'm a guitar player so...you know) has really impressed me so far.

She is an incredible salesperson. She seems to really enjoy the gear she endorses. Kanami’s knowledge in discussing the pedals is indisputable . She’s a true guitar geek. Much respect to the little professor.

Super professional. You can see her use the full range of the pedal with different techniques. I want one of those pedals and I don't know the first thing about playing guitar.
Read somewhere that she is educated and has a degree in Economy and Business. Maybe that's why she has that business pro attitude here.

I literally just ordered the 20/20 wah lock last week! Mainley because Kanami snd Tremonti use Morely. My 1st wah pedal thats not a cry baby in over 20 years! I'm assuming that the 2 she talks about at the end are her favourite ones so its cool I got one of those 😀🤟

@@philcalvino884 Thank you and no problem 😁 yeah that would be good to do, I was planning on doing a video on my pedal board so definitely 👍 The reason I went for that one was the "whoa" mode which is more vocal like wah. Kanami obviously liked that feature too 😄
It's great she's using her own guitar and rig.
Kanami is so well spoken and charming, she’s an ideal spokesman for any music product. Kanami playing every pedal was gratuitous and not necessary, but I love watching and hearing Kanami play as much as possible. Kanami knocked this out of the park, as she is lovely and her level of appeal is of the chart. Watching Band Maid play Budakon is a goal.
For them to play an arena like that, they'll need to increase their domestic fan base. As impressive as they are, they're a western-sounding band in an eastern country. They have an unfortunate ceiling they'll need to break through to become bigger.
@@gloomy9728...? Band Maid are going to play Budakon. It's my understanding that they do rather well in Japan. Pre-Covid19, they played pubs, clubs, & small arenas in the Europe, US, & Mexico and were working up to bigger and better.

I had a Morley power wah 40 years ago. It was a great chrome beast but was far better than the cry baby I had before it.
Glad to see they are still around and being used by such a talented guitar player !

Sat and watched it all the way to the end. Something about the way she spoke and her explaining had me glued all the way through. Morley will sell a shitload, nice work marketing.

Her outfit makes her look larger than she is, but she is a powerhouse guitar player. The Band Maid ladies are the real deal, not posers.

I'm not a guitar player so have no use for the pedals. But found the video fascinating, helps understand how the various effects are made when she plays live and in the studio. I get the feeling she's like to have several all lined up for the special effects each has.
Even when I can't understand, I could listen to her talk and play guitar all day. Amazingly talented and seriously the cutest human ever ❤️

It is really compact and fits on my board and It has the two essentials for sound shaping.

@@mauricedorreboom5388 They are scheduled to play the Budokan in February. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, they have to cut the numbers that could attend. More unfortunately, foreigners like me almost certainly won't be able to get into Japan until at least April.

Thanks so much for these in depth videos AND subtitling them to English! Fantastic! Now, if I could just figure out how to get a subscription to the magazine here in the USA. Buying them one by one from Japan is getting expensive!
Kanami could be reading the weather report for the Arctic Circle and I would still find it more interesting than anything else because of her voice alone. If she didn't have such a massive girl-crush on Saiki, I would do everything in my power to date her. lol
