I recall arguing (in jest) with a dear friend as to whether we should take the scenic route of Route 90 or I-10. He wanted 90...and I wanted I-10 so we could just "get there, already." Thank you! I always enjoy reading your comments! I have times where I just want to get there already and times where I'm able to slow down and enjoy the ride. We just drove through California, and I wanted to do the Pacific Coast Highway so badly. We were in a time crunch because of the holidays though, so sadly I decided to opt for the interstate. I've learned the scenic route is always worth it if you have the time. Happy New Year to you! 🥳
The Mississippi and Alabama Gulf coast are hidden treasures. I would love to go to Dauphin Island with a reclining beach chair and a couple gallons of iced coffee. That Ferg seems like a swell dude.
They absolutely are hidden treasures! I had no idea how beautiful this stretch of coast was. Dauphin Island was stunning as well. It'll make an appearance in the next video. Have you been? I honestly didn't realize Alabama had islands before that trip. Yep, Ferg is swell. Lucky to have such a cool friend!
@@LidiaExplores I drove around Dauphin Island this past summer, and even took the ferry over to Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores. There is a small aquarium on Dauphin Island, too. I like Dauphin Island because it is not nearly as crowded as Gulf Shores. Unfortunately, we went during a really hot spell. We were staying in Fairhope and walked onto the pier. There wasn't even a breeze...and that never happens on the coast. 105 in Texas felt so much nicer than the 93 degree temps they had that day!
Looking forward to new content. I'm from British Columbia and hope to explore some of the US North East and South East coasts this fall. Ideally it will be from the West Coast to the East Coast then from Florida to Arizona before returning to Vancouver Island. Gleaning info from your and other You Tubers on places to see and things to do.
