I used the Arlanda Express during my last visit to Stockholm and it's very efficient despite being costy. I'd say the Flygbussarna are budget friendly. Good video man👍👍
Option 7 is definitely the best, and it is preferred by most of the locals. The surcharge for Arlanda Express is excessive, out of the bounds of reason. Incidentally, there is a big surcharge for a metro ride from and to Madrid Barajas Airport. Use the local train (RENFE Cercanías) instead, where there is no surcharge.
Question about 7) local bus and train. When you take a local bus (not only this one to Märsta but generally all local city bus) are you allowed to bring in big travel size suitcases?
Arlanda Express is awesome. Not the cheapest way, but the fastest. When I visited Stockholm last year, I took a 'fast train' like the AE for the first time in my life ( I sometimes use our local trains here in Germany to get from A to B, but they are not anything special to me ;-) ). I focused so much on the displayed speed (I really wanted to catch the 200km/h^^) , that I was a little bit 'confused', when 'suddenly' a big stadium appeared at the windows (the rat hole at 'Solna' ;-) ). I realized that I almost reached Central Station. Maybe the 200 will appear in April, when I come back to Stockholm ;-) And by the way: Vänliga hälsningar från Tyskland ;-)
Helsinki Vantaa is also the same way. The train to the Central Station is just below. I was going to purchase a ticket from the machine, but a nice Finska kvinna gave me her blue ticket that wasn't even marked by the conductor. When this CV crisis is over, I really want to return to my Sverige. Stockholm is a given, but I also want to go to Umea and ferry to Vaasa, Finland. West coast of Finland is very nice, and they Pratt pa Svenska.
2:55 Not to be that guy, but it is because driving a train on the so called ’Arlandabanan’ is managed by the company A-train, and they take in money to pay back for the loans taken to build Arlandabanan.
Take the train into Stockholm central, then a X2000 or an Intercity train towards Malmö and change to a local train (Öresundståg or Pågatåg) in Lund. Or it'd be so much easier to fly in to Copenhagen Airport and take a direct train to Landskrona from there. Would save you many hours, if you're coming in from abroad, that is.
My flight from Gothenburg to Helsinki had a connection at Arlanda, but left Gothenburg twenty-five minutes late. That made a forty minute connection even tighter. I had to switch terminals to make the Helsinki flight, going through security again after SkyCity. Thanks to the kind people in that security line, I cleared security and made the connection... but yeah, I won't trust a terminal switch there again. Even if there was a post security bus connection between terminals, the late arrival gave me no time to look for it.

I love the chime sound that plays before announcements at Arlanda ☺️
I wonder if one day they will announce my name as being late to a gate, ha ha.
TheSwedishLad
Yes, although they’re sure to call you Sven by mistake 😉
Your video is so comprehensive. I chose Flygbussarna most times to Kista (119kr) or city center (99kr) for convenience.
Sweet!

Some great information there. Nicely explained too.

How much did it cost???
@@Cupcakkes_th0ng I guess it was 25-30 Euro or something. But I am not that sure after the "years" ;-)

7th is the best way if you’re a budget traveler!! If you buy 24 or 72 hours ticket, you can travel unlimited within Stockholm
Very true, and both the local bus and the commute train (unless you take it directly from Arlanda) are included.
I benefited a lot ، thank yo so much ✌✌
omg I needed this video!

From Stocholm Ailanda Airport to Skovde? could you please guide me on how can go there easily?
Arlanda Express to Stockholm and then the onward on the Gothenburg train which stops in Skövde.
Where was this information last month when I went to Stockholm?! Never mind, we got there in one piece and I even got to practise my Swedish :)
You should have just written me.
TheSwedishLad true haha, I know you’re busy though so I just got on with it and survived!
@@bronwenday And I'm glad you did, survive that is. Hope you had a good stay.
TheSwedishLad Thank you, it was amazing! I’m looking forward to my next visit :)
Arlanda ❤️
I've driven that bus in Mora. ;) Was it Hans you met?
Never met Hans, though one of my names is Hans, but it wasn't me.
But I just had to add it when I saw it. Good luck in the kval!
Is there an app we can use to get train and bus tickets before arriving?
Use the SL app
hi
can you tell me please how to get to Landskrona city from Stockholm arlanda airport (by train) please ?

I just took the express in November.
Fast and smooth!
TheSwedishLad can you please explain the on and off pay further?
Remind me to never transfer at Arlanda again!! SAS almost screwed me last October. Stupid SkyCity...
Oh no, what happened?

Yeah, switching terminals is always problematic, especially when you have to go through security again.
Maybe you could have mentioned with the commuter trains that it's free if you are under 18!
Youths under 20 travel with a discount but not for free.
Principal all the way!!!💵💵💵
please share the link of taxi and ride share apps
I know why its cost more to get from Arlanda. Because the railroad own by the Chinese states :)
2:12 the text is broken, the letters are expanded and the only normal thing is the numbers aren’t expanded.
