Really great review; thorough and in plain language. To Omega XiS: I have ATH M40x and M50X, neither are as comfortable,and have very different sound signatures. They are closed as opposed to semi open.
Helpful review, looking to buy these and adding a modmic but i want to know as much as i can about these first such as build quality and sound etc, i hoped the structure at the top was metal though :( still a good review!
BTW: B has decreased bass, F has increased bass and without letters 668 has neutral bass.
What kind of amplification do you need in terms of numbers when pairing those to a Xonar DG soundcard?

For anyone who own a 668b: how much can I isolate external sound using this headphone? I know they are semi-open headphones but can I expect to isolate sounds like: people talking, cars, and other "urban" sounds? While I listen to some music of music on medium volume for example... Thanks

If you bought these in 2017 don't try to adjust the head of the "fingers". I broke mine. There are not longer adjustable. Was so surprised that I didn't looked close enough to notice that they are different! ;)
Between these headphones and the Panasonic RP-HTF600-S, for listening Metal (Industrial Metal, Power Metal, Death Metal, and so on) wich of both could be better? Thanks a lot!
