Same! I just finished a butterfly blanket for my new baby grandson…. Lord have mercy!! I need a long break from a stitch where I have to count and count and count and count!! 😑😑 The blanket turned out just amazing and it will for sure be a keepsake blanket….but it was 5 weeks of crochet 5 hours a day… no music, no RUclips… nothing… just counting… and I’d get up from sitting (for like a potty break) and I’d have to write down where I stopped …. It will be a long time before I attempt a stitch like that again 😂❤ So this lovely stitch is a true blessing! It’s so lovely also!!
I love the way you say: "skip skip"", it always makes me picture my sister & I skipping along as kids. And when I'm doing your stitch, like this adorable Lil' Tulip, it's just easier to remember (AND it makes me smile!)
Thank you Crystal. Everytime you show us a new stitch I want to stop what I am working on and make something out of the new stitch that you just taught us. You are a wonderful teacher. I have so much crocheting confidence because of you.❤
Thank you so much. I made a blanket from your tutorial and it's the first time I've crocheted(I'm 63) and your instructions were so easy to understand and really helped my confidence!
I’m a beginner crocheter and this Tulip pattern looks so fun. I can’t wait to get started. I want to make granddaughter a scarf. I think this would work for that. ALSO, I love the way you “show how”!
Love your stitch tutorials. Especially the one row repeat...so much easier on my memory. I know I will figure out a use for this stitch soon. Thanks Crystal!
That’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you Crystal so much for this beautiful tutorial of the little tulip stitch. I love one row repeats they are so much easier to follow and to crochet with. That would be beautiful for a scarf or a blanket. 💗 🧶 💗
I LOVE ❤❤❤ all these stitch tutorials. Especially the "1-row-repeats" because they are GREAT for hat & scarf sets. Now that we are in August, I'm starting to make hats/scarves in prep for winter sales and donations to schools/churches. When the pattern looks the same on both sides... well gosh, that's just a big plus! Thank you so much for everything you do, Crystal! I appreciate you! 💜
That would make a lovely finishing border! That you for all the teaching! I'm getting better with each of your videos. And, of course, I love to talk about yarn!
👋 Crystal! Needed another TV watching stitch for another Boggy Creek blanket. Something different than a granny...Thanks so much for the inspiration and teaching.🫶
I absolutely love when you get your hands on a new yarn that you love! “I had to, I had to!” I really like Colorama Halo, but I’m not caring for the Haze. Fuzz is fine, just can’t put my finger on why I don’t like Haze, just looks odd. The BIG HALO is it!❤😂
Hi Crystal!! I love this stitch!! I also love the color of your yarn for this!! It’s totally beautiful!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this stitch with us. May God continue to bless you, your family and your channel!!😊
I like to write out stitch instr so can remember how to do these but this Lil Tulip looks nice n easy. Snappy looking. Good for bags... heavy stuff....hmm. Holiday season is nigh ya'll. Many blessings of a nurturing nature. 🌻
If you chain 2 at the beginning and then put a DC in the first stitch, ch 2 and put the sc in that same stitch it gives the pattern a scalloped edge, very pretty for s blanket. I've waited a LONG time for Crystal to demonstrate this stitch. Thank you Crystal.
Thank you for the close-up view, for you going slowly enough for newbies & especially for showing how to end a row (the hardest part for me to keep straight)! I'm going to use this to make my sister a throw for her 75th bday!! She's going to love its fancy look... Thank you ❤
I don't normally leave a comment but, I love your channel and have made a few things like your beanies, so I want to thank you for your teaching all of us to actually learn to crochet.
I have made 2 baby blankets with this stitch. I got the pattern from another channel (you have mentioned them in the past), but it has pretty natural scalloped edges!! They never mentioned the name of this stitch though! It is very nice to know the stitch name! Thank you very much for the version with straight edges though! Hope you are feeling better & better every day!!
Yes I love one Row repeats you can watch TV and crochet at the same time
Me too

I love the way you say: "skip skip"", it always makes me picture my sister & I skipping along as kids. And when I'm doing your stitch, like this adorable Lil' Tulip, it's just easier to remember (AND it makes me smile!)
Skipping was sooooo much fun. I wonder if I remember how at 66. Do children still skip and play hop scotch?
Lovely stitch. My daughters-in-law asked me to make a blanket just the other day. I think I'll use this stitch. Thank you
Beautiful and easy. Thank you for your channel. I can actually follow you. Thank you✌️❤️

You make this look so easy. Thanks for taking it slow so I can see how and where to put the stiches. I love your tutorials.
So pretty. I like how it’s less Lacey than the regular tulip stitch. Thanks Crystal!
Wow, it does indeed look beautiful! What a gorgeous stitch. Thank you, Crystal.
Pretty stitch. Love when they're the same on both sides.
Thank you once again for gifting us with a wonderful stitch!
I’m a beginner crocheter and this Tulip pattern looks so fun. I can’t wait to get started. I want to make granddaughter a scarf. I think this would work for that. ALSO, I love the way you “show how”!
Thank you for this new to me, stitch. Blessings to you and your family
I am going to make myself a lap blanket! I have made 20 baby blankets in 2024 so far. I’m having a knee replaced, so this will be just for me!

Great stitch. I love working into a chain space! ❤️

You’ve done it again made another gorgeous, beautiful blanket to share
Nothing better than a one row repeat and same on both sides!!
AND working into spaces as well. W00t!
Hello Crystal! Love one row repeats ❤❤❤
What a gorgeous color of Red!
My favourite stitch for blankets! My pattern vrrsion works up with scalloped edges all around, so, NO edging needed! Bonus! ❤❤❤
That would make a lovely finishing border! That you for all the teaching! I'm getting better with each of your videos. And, of course, I love to talk about yarn!

I have done this stitch in the past or at least one very similar. I think it was an afghan I made. It was very pretty and moved right along. 🤎🧡💛
