Im struggling on this...I followed the steps but the files won't come up in the meta trader even after i copy them in there.
Im on a Mac but trying to do MT4 via Parallels...idk if you're familiar with this n if there's different steps when doing it this way.

Thanks for the comment. Can you verify the following:
1) What is the extrnsion of the file you want to load?
2) If the the files are in sub directories, check the name of the directory in MT4 instead file name. The files will be under that directory.
3) Make sure file is not corrupt.
If you opened the directory from meta editor file hierarchy then it should be fine if above points are valid.

Sir, After downloading custom indicator from internet, Is it mandatory to open the file first before drag & drop it into meta trader MT4? Also does it matter if original indicator file is in compressed form & how do you open metatrader & downloaded file on the same windows lap top screen simultaneosly to do the drag & drop step..

Thanks for the comment. Copy that .ex4 file into the required folder as shown in video. You dont have to open the file first.
MT4 will recognize the file and show it in the hierarchy. If not shown then restart MT4 maybe required
