In 1968 Carroll Shelby built the King Of The Road, the 1968 GT500KR, the most powerful Mustang ever built. Forty years later Ford brought back the legendary name and the 2008 GT500KR was born, one of the rarest modern Muscle Cars Ford built. This is the real era when Mr Carroll Shelby was deeply involved with the development of these cars and SVT.
The perfection and true beauty was priceless. I love my GT350 but regret till this day when I sold my 2011 GT500.
The only thing better is the 13-14 gt500. Wow yeah that was a mistake lol no offense. Sell the 350 and get a 13-14 and those regrets will disappear
I LOVE THE KR LOL I HAVE A 08 GT500 AND I HAVE A 07 427 EDITION CONVERTIBLE SUPER SNAKE AND I HAVE A GRABBER BLUE KENNY BELL 900HP COUPE SUPER SNAKE AND I ALSO HAVE A 07 SHELBY GT AND I PLAN ON A KR AND IN THIS COLOR LOL THE ONLY THING THE KR SHOULD HAVE HAD A LITTLE MORE CARBON FIBER AND DEFINITELY THE CENTER GAGE PACK JUST LIKE WHAT CAME IN MY 07 SUPER SNAKE.
@@SVTJD did exactly that but I did go back to a 2012 with the 5.4.
1 owner 3,000 miles clean no mods everything original I definitely don’t miss the GT350 but I have to admit it’s hell of a great handling car just not the same animal for me it’s more of a track based then a muscle car in my personal opinion.
I have a 07 GT/CS Vista blue and MAN I want that GT500 hood so bad!!
I think these cars are awesome! The only thing I thought was weird was Ford putting the v6 rear spoiler on it.

IF THE KR HOOD IS THAT EXPENSIVE LOL THAN HOW MUCH IS THE HOOD WORTH ON MY SUPER SNAKES LOL A LOT OF MONEY I GUESS.
ALSO I WISH THE RIMS ON THE 08 09 KR WERE 20 INCH WHEELS JUST LIKE THE ONES ON MY SUPER SNAKES AND MY GT500.
This GT500 is just so 🤌🏻 I prefer this one to the any of the ones that succeeded it.
The best part about the KR is the exhaust note.
Beautiful car! I love the S197's, but I am a S550 lady! I think you grow with a model and that is the model that you prefer. My first stang was a 2015 GT, and having several since then, I just love the S550. I have no desire for a S650, I will leave that to the young ones.

I have a 2013 Gt500 that I almost daily drive (50K+), Last year Carroll Shelby had input into development. Our car has been to Germany where I had her up to and a bit over 200 mph. She still looks almost brand new except a few swirls in the paint. She is not going anywhere except to the lids. Looking for a second Shelby for our other kid, have to be fair right?
