Just tried spring clamps and dowel on the bottom wheel of my bandsaw. Worked like a charm! Beats making a jig or tieing string or all the strong-arm methods that I've seen so far. Thanks a great deal. Didn't really want to take off the bottom wheel and risk losing the key.
Not sure if it's very critical, but I recall something about boiling the tires for a few minutes before installing them. Anyone else hear anything about that?
I replaced my bandsaw tires twice and everyone seems to complain how hard they are to get on. I wish people would take their wheel off it only takes two seconds and makes tire replacement a breeze.
