It is a 40w speaker. 10w for tweeter and 30w for the woofer.
I just got my charge 5. I’ve never had a speaker this nice. The sound is awesome. I got mine to be able to listen to music while outside in the garden. Definitely works great.
I first bought change 5 and after Xtreme 3
If you try to hear xtreme 3 you cant go back.
(App equalizer is recommended with rock level preset)

while I have partybox 110, it is respected but bass and clarity on the partybox is like 6 times better, keeping the sound in same range, I would prefer in door partybox. but as I said it is respected and very nice for outdoor.

Should you let the battery be completely drained before fully charging it again or does it matter? Some batteries have a charge memory and can affect the play time if you don't let it drain completely
Las baterias de Litio no tienen memoria y no se deben descargar hasta 0% esto es muy malo para las batarias de litio, tambien es muy malo cargarlas al 100%, por eso la recomendación para prolongar la vida útil y cuidar la batería de litio es manejarla en un rango de 20% a 80% es muy malo cargarla hasta 100% y tambien es muy malo descargarla a menos del 20%

Yeah, JBL claims are Bullshît. 5 to 6 hours and it's dead. It really sucks, I regret selling both my charge 3, they lasted a really long time.
I feel like the battery life isn't that great. I use it for 3 hours every day at 50% volume and i need to charge it every 3 days. Is it the same for you?

It'll depend on the music, if you are listening to banging techno it won't be as long as many other genres

I have a Charge 5 I find the biggest takeaway is lack of the aux port meaning I cant wire it to my phone or other device for playing games since using Bluetooth without at least aptx built in the latency is way to high however I know usb audio is possible on the device and with the ability to push firmware updates I know my chance is next to 0% but I just hope someone at JBL sees one of my comments and adds a Toggle in there app for audio over usb!

I just bought it the other day charged it for 3hrs and I used it for one shift at work 2:15hrs on full volume and it was on low battery by that time can anyone let me know if they have the same issue I bought it for 240$ and it seems quite a bad purchase:(

@@kareemmartin4435 yeah man I realized it awhile ago. But if you go 100% volume you only get about 2hrs of play until it dies but I guess it’s how it’s made.. thought they were talking about 12hours full volume that would’ve been sick

No. I have this speaker and use it at 50% volume and it only last 6 hours.
