I’m a D23 Gold Member and didn’t even bother trying to get tickets this year. After seeing your vlog yesterday, I’m thinking it was a good decision. I’m thinking of canceling my membership. I have always enjoyed Disneyland, but it’s getting too hard (reservations, genieplus, virtual queues) and too expensive (park tickets/magickeys, hotel, gas, flights food)for me to enjoy. I’m glad that others are able to enjoy the experience and hope they continue to do so! No Hate Here, just being realistic for me. Appreciate you taking us along on your journeys!
D23 was truly maddening! On day 1, I was 22503 as a Gold Member and never even got a chance before they stopped selling. Then yesterday on the Visa day, I also did it on my phone and laptop. Phone was 1208 and laptop was 33504! CRAZY - I also had to keep refreshing my phone to get our tickets. Thankfully we got a full 3 day for Honda Center. It will be our 1st visit to D23 and we are excited.
It made me laugh when he was describing how the trees grow around the power lines. I had to come to the comments to see if anybody was going to say anything about it.
Congratulations! Congratulations! On getting full D23 event tickets. It ‘ll be a great 50th birthday celebration for you. Your patience is stellar. Look forward to your video reviews of D23-2024. Have a relaxing rest of your week.😎
Was down there last week and stopped by Hope Thrift store, and let me tell you, what a hidden gem! I picked up several pins at a heck of a deal! Thanks Adam for that gem
Same with me! Day two I got 3244 on my phone and 17100 On my computer.. was glitching again with me not being able to log in on the phone .. but the 17100 on the computer eventually worked. I just got 2- one day tickets Saturday for the expo only which is all i really needed. Just glad I’ll get to be part of it. Glad you got yours finally! I’ll watch the big panel live. It’s crazy how many people had these issues. Going to Disneyland Sunday. Hopefully a learning lesson for Disney.
This was my first D23 ticket purchase as a new D23 member. I thought I was going crazy. It took me 7 tries to successfully purchase my tickets. Alas, I was victorious. See ya'll in Anaheim in August!!!
I hate to disappoint but the trees are cut back away from the lines so when there’s nasty weather the lines are fairly safe. I’m from Oregon so I’m familiar with trees 🌲 😂
I love the tree observation so much. Never lose your charm, Adam the Woo. 😊 I'm so sorry for your trouble with the tickets. I know it means so much ro you. I'm glad you got them.
That emotional roller-coaster is the same one I rode when trying to register for the Princess Half Marathon this past year. So happy you were able to get tickets!
Don't worry, the "secondary market" (aka "legal/licensed scalpers") have plenty of tickets available when I did a search a few minutes ago. I remember the days I could go down to Tower Records the day a concert was announced and get tickets without issue or waiting more than a few people in front of me in line. Now everything is sold out in 15 minutes, and "secondary market" sites have plenty for 3-5 times the price instantly.
No the trees don't avoid the telephone lines unfortunately. The telephone companies trim them to prevent fires. They come in your yard and will butcher your tree if the tree is too close to the line. A nessary thing to do to prevent wild fires. I'm glad your able to get the tickets, good job.
As a battle-scarred veteran of every Expo, I thought I'd have some troubles but would eventually get tickets. I was wrong. After two frustrating days of waiting for my turn, the only tickets left were either too expensive (over $1000 a ticket), or ones I didn't want. I opted to sit out this year.
I drove by the Osceola Welcome Center many times, but I didn't know what was inside, that's cool. I thought it was a timeshare business. I liked the taxidermy bobcat giving that bird a high five!
Leaf blowers are the sound from hell. Big reason why I moved out of Phoenix area. They just walk around with gas packs on their back in 115F blowing dust everywhere. Hopefully technology and/or regulations will catch up and limit the noise.
A comment for the youtube algorithm. We should consider the trees around power poles as if they are giant bonsai at the hands of the power company. They are "trimmed" every couple or few years as needed. Thanks for the videos. 👍
Hey Adam,, Hawaiian joe here..... just to let you know, the trees are cut by maintenance people to grow around the electric lines and poles. It's not natural.. okay then aloha and see you next time you come Hawaii
😂Sometimes you say things that make me go..."he's kidding right?"😂 But the trees growing under power lines on purpose to avoid electricity took the cake😂 I was Today days old when I learned...😂😂😂😂😂
Your adorable...the tree doesn't "grow around the power lines". At some point the utility company trimmed the tree and then the tree grew from that point. Have you not seen them trimming the trees?? You crack me up.. Great video though. Love when you take us around and show us stuff in your area. That nature center was fabulous...
Since I've been kreepn with ya for years and remember you showing it, was cool seeing that picture of the place where the car when thru back in the day.. Kools broski taking a snooze also 😂
You should totally enjoy those lattes! You can use dairy free milk (Oat milk is awesome!) in them and sugar free French vanilla/Vanilla syrup and add your own sugar to it.
Adam...the trees do not grow around cables. City cuts them that way to protect vanle. But it is not very healthy for the tree. The food at the closed Tijuana Flats was awful at best and the place was ver dirty.
After trying the previous 2 days, I finally got tickets for Sunday, which was the only thing left. 😞Same thing happened to me. I would get "in" but either the buttons to purchase the tickets didn't show up or it wouldn't move me past the login page. Crazy! 🤪
Roller coaster ride trying to buy tix - don’t need to go into any parks today, already had the coaster experience! So glad you got your weekend planned, sounds like a great 50th celebration!! 🎉
The trees are trimmed that way by the electric company. It’s a common practice everywhere. The utility companies always have the right away, and they have broad easements that allow them to trim the trees.
Disney plants magical smart trees everywhere, especially around power lines and bridges. You can buy tickets to see these magical trees a give Mickey a hug. Adam you need magical trees in your life
I was 13k and 43k for the gold member presale. the queue closed when I was about 5 minutes away. for visa, I got 527. SO grateful to have Honda center tickets knowing so many members are ticketless, this will be my first expo. It was such a horrible process! I had 8 different tabs open with family members all helping me out XD
Adam, Your videos are simple yet VERY detailed oriented and entertaining! It reminds me the forgotten simplicity of our daily lives! Keep up the good work sir! 🎉
You need to visit Bonnet Springs and get your steps in there next time you visit Lakeland. It's amazing free to enter park tho it doesn't look free to enter.
my brother and i were jus art a Tijuana Flats the other day, just before we went a saw Ghostbusters, here in Gainesville Florida...love the Taco Salads.
I haven’t seen any RUclipsr go to fort Tortuga off the coast from the keys. I really think you should be the first in your RUclips group. I think ferry or seaplane are the only travel options
Happened same with me, difference between computer and phone. And yes it says in the site that it is RANDOM and doesn’t matter when you sign in (day before or five minutes before noon - I tried both and the device signed in one hour before noon got the lowest number). I got kicked out same thing with signing in when it was my turn, so frustrating. All sold out except the Anaheim tix for one day. It I’m happy to get what I did and looking forward to it!
Same thing happened to me. First day I couldn’t even get in and the second day it wouldn’t let me log in. And just now I was able to buy one ticket but I’m sad because I only wanted to go Friday and that was sold out.
Congrats on getting tickets and thanks for showing the bus stops and little walking path and visitor center. That’s cool if they have that in like busy suburban area. You can kinda get into a little nature. I wonder if all those people online were bots. Trying to resell tickets that become a huge problem. Just a theory
Congrats on finally being able to get your tickets. Where I am from we call that ordeal you had to go through to get them.......RIGAMAROLE lol or better said too much Rigamarole...haha.
That Shingle Creek station was quite a neat place! The D23 ticket process is a real nightmare! We're so happy you got your tickets, though! Good thing you figured out the sign-on! 🙂
I've seen a lot of landscape over trimmed to bare stubs out in the desert creating noise and air pollution. They charge the HOAs and it's job security for the landscapers. I hope Florida and other parts of the country are more reasonable and trim appropriately based on safety and not economic factors.

Been going to d23 since 2015 and NEVER had this much of an issue getting tickets. Good luck to anyone still trying
Adam, you need to change your show title to “TheHourlyWoo”
@@neilstrongarm377 Ha! So true. Didn’t Adam “retire,” a while back? 😮
Try just a plain hot caffe latte it’s always my go to, healthier than anything with sugar or syrup in it with other lattes
I had a similar issue with buying concert tickets. I think it’s more of a Visa issue than a Disney issue.
I’m a D23 Gold member and I’m still trying. 😢
Adam, @14:44 The trees are cut by the power company so as to look like that. This helps limit limbs from falling on line. Former Linemen here.
Oh no kidding ? Dang I have a weird imagination I guess, ha . Thanks for the info
I am glad I am not the only one to point that out. LoL
First thing I thought of when Mr. The Dailywoo talks about the trees 🌳
I totally thought that the electric current made the trees grow different...very strange and cool
@@TheDailyWoo I wasn't going to say anything to ruin the magic ha ha! They do that where I live too.

Lol. They trim the trees around the power lines.

Trees are much smarter than I thought, why they don’t seek shelter during lightning storms is beyond me.
I had to SMH at this one
Wanted to make sure someone was gently educating him about tree trimming 😂
Yup…lol

Thanks for the museum tour. Love stopping at smaller historical showings. Wanderlust at its best
Was down there last week and stopped by Hope Thrift store, and let me tell you, what a hidden gem! I picked up several pins at a heck of a deal! Thanks Adam for that gem
Adam Nice visitors center Thank You for sharing.
I love that you think the trees grow around the power lines ...
God bless your heart.
Your "hand graphic" explaining the ticket buying experience was superb! Definitely better than PowerPoint!
After the last uneventful D23, I'm shocked people still want to go to it.
It’s a cult….

Trees that grow under or near power lines are typically trimmed that way.
The Osceola County Museum was AWESOME!!! The sound effects are REALLY cool!! Interesting attraction!!!
The leaf blower is your spirit animal.
The power companies cut the tree canopies to prevent loss or do it after storms and charge the customers for what they should have done.
Our dearest Adam, the trees are pruned as they get near the lines.
14:40 Adam they are pruned that way so they dont cause damage or interfere with the wires, most power lines are bare wires
I love these “ around town” videos
This was my first D23 ticket purchase as a new D23 member. I thought I was going crazy. It took me 7 tries to successfully purchase my tickets. Alas, I was victorious. See ya'll in Anaheim in August!!!
I guess my age is showing here. I miss being able to go and just get a paper ticket, from a REAL person, in a ticket booth for events.
Me too
Or sleeping overnight on the sidewalk of Rose records to buy paper tickets as so as they opened the doors. The good old days.
I'm right with you
What if you lose your ticket?
@@KnifeGuy_ When you are my age, and had paper tickets.... you knew how to hold on to them. Besides, not everyone has a cellphone.
I hate to disappoint but the trees are cut back away from the lines so when there’s nasty weather the lines are fairly safe. I’m from Oregon so I’m familiar with trees 🌲 😂
Glad you were able to get tickets! We are gold members who went through the exact same experience of trying to get tickets (we did get them)
No, you didn't
There was a time when you didn't have to be a "Cyber Ninja" to overpay for a Disney event!
I love the tree observation so much. Never lose your charm, Adam the Woo. 😊

i love these style videos, just being a kucklehead roaming free doing as the crow flies.
Adam should get a leaf blower tatoo 😂
Yay 🎉🎉🎉 you got your tickets 🍀🙌💯 excited for those videos to come in August D23 😀 🥳.
I believe they trim the trees so they don’t interfere with the power lines.
This was planned. The tree did not chose to avoid the power line...
Very nice Florida visitor's center museum. They did an excellent job putting that together.
There is a company contracted by FPL (Asplunde) to trim trees around the power lines.
Hey Adam why don't you credit the tree trimmers who keep the trees from touching the power lines 😅
Very cool hidden Mickey cloud above the water tower at the intro! ☁🐭
Good spot
Oh dang !
Also, FYI, the utilities companies trim trees, all the time to avoid the powerlines
Congratulations! This is 5ye first time we are going! Hope you run into you at D23 or in the parks!

Some how the trees grow around the power lines. Lol.
Your squirrels are so tiny! Ours are fat lil buggers up here in New England! :)
Gee, I wonder why 🙄
Wish Disney + would just stream these events like D23.
I always thought the same thing, but then they wouldn't sell as many tickets lol
Glad you got your tickets, your FOMO was big time!
