With epic universe opening next year, Disney better make some concrete announcements. They have that 60 billion parks and experiences investment over the next 10 years. There has to be at least one tiny definite announcement! 😂We shall see. Like you said, going to be many blue sky guaranteed.

I called and a young lady answered and asked me to hold so I sat there and listened to the music then the phone rang off the hook. I gave up and called later. So much for automation! I got into the parks panel and it was BLUE SKY BS through and through! The benefit was getting some baked goods and swag at the panel, but, I do not need to go every 2 years! 🤔😜
Having someone else do your taxes feels so luxurious, lol. Especially if you’re self-employed. Also, saving the tax money during the year keeps you out of trouble! Very smart!
It's not luxurious. I worked for H&R Block and did some self-employment taxes. It's not that expensive, and since Block, as well as most tax preparers, have a guarantee in case of error, it puts your mind at ease. I'm not sure why he doesn't pay his taxes quarterly, though. I guess personal preference. And a tax preparer gives you advice when they meet with you, or they should.

For some people, it's worth it so you can reduce stress. When I worked for H &R Block, a guy came in with only a W2. I told him he could have done this himself in 5 minutes. He said he just didn't want to deal with it. On top of that, he missed our early bird rates and ended up paying 40 bucks for a 1040EZ that a 10 year old could have filled out. I guess that's what keeps Block in business. As for me, I like doing my taxes. Mine aren't complicated as my youtube channel makes no money.😂
I learned to do my taxes as a self employed person after the person screwed me over one year. What I hated was paying quarterly estimated payments. Much rather pay one time per year.

D23 Expo frustration a all-time high! Glad being a PAID gold member left us high and dry yesterday with the site crash and today everything is sold out, literally. First few Expos were awesome and some of the best Disney times ever, but last couple have been a complete cluster before and during!
but there are thousands of "die hard" disney fans out there that have gold status as well. Your "paid" status probably doesnt mean anything to that corporation.

Always paid my quarterly taxes about 25 % when I was self employed Hairdresser.. But usually had to pay!! State Tax too.... Massachusetts 😢 now I'm retired👍

I think write-offs lower the amount of profit you've made, which lowers how much tax you owe. I read somewhere it translates to a 30% discount basically.

I guess I’ll also throw my comment in too… they need to change the Disney system so that you specifically provide a name for each person who is attending for every single ticket at the time of purchase That way no one can buy extras and then sell them at a higher price later. This seems to happen with every after hours even, holiday party, etc. at Disney.
What they probably need to do now due to High Demand is probably have D23 in Multiple states or country to meet that demand. Same with the parks too. Might be time they expand a little and have a few more Disney parks around the world so more people can join enjoy the magic.
Wise to have the separate savings account. I wish more banks did sub-accounts instead of making you open a whole separate account. I think CapitalOne savings does it.
Adam when did the “que” line open ? I believe you said you got in line 1 hour prior. It must’ve opened 16,695 people before you so maybe you needed to get in the “que” line earlier ? I sense the frustration in your voice.
Look into “estimated quarterly taxes” Your accountant should know about it. You get a payment book that is based on your previous taxes. You then make quarterly payments. At the end when you file your taxes if you overpaid you get the difference refunded. If not enough was paid you just pay that amount instead of paying the entire thing at once

Your considered self employed, should pay estimated quarterly taxes to minimize what you might have to pay at tax time.
Orrrrr the penalty is pretty small and he is choosing to not pay quarterly which many sole proprietors do.

Tax day every year gives me anxiety, I got mine done last week and things went smooth not surprises, unlike years before.
