I'm not great at snowboarding. I can make it down black diamonds and go plenty fast under control. I always chicken out for jumps.... I cannot wrap my mind around how you do any of this stuff without both feet strapped in.
Buncha Jerry’s can’t even get off the lift with one foot in the board commenting that Marcus this, Darcy that, the one footed miller to DATE is the BEST KNUCKLE TRICK. It’s easily the most dangerous and I would argue was dripping in style.
Every extreme sports competition ever. They all used to be a celebration of uniqueness. They all became a race to see who was the most perfect cookie cutter. This is the inevitable result of taking a counter-culture and marketing it to the mainstream. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on these dudes' skills. They are objectively ripping HARD. That's not the problem. The problem is the ad space their skills are selected to sell. Corporate money will always pervert creativity.
@@Fknheck I'm talking about the standard backflips and barrel rolls. Like when everyone went crazy over McMorris' trick, it was a typical trick. Knucklehuck is more about interacting with knuckle itselfand getting weird, not "let's see how many backflips and spins I can do off this tiny jump."
They forgot that the knuckle huck needs a knuckle, not a tabletop. Took the creativity out of it. Neat to see what these guys can do on a normal sized jump though…except for the spin to win.

This comp kinda lost the spirit of knucklehuck. Most riders defaulted to traditional tricks instead of the quirky unusual tricks of games past.

Previous years of knuckle huck are waaay better. Too much jump on this one. Respect to the riders though, great tricks and mad skills.
Darcy was my favourite. He gives the knuckle the love it deserves.
