- Here it is, and a day early! This is the 2015 Halloween special, and the final story of The Slopes of Culdee Fell.
Note: Although children can watch this, they are not the intended audience. The intended audience are adult fans who grew up with the show for nostalgic purposes.
Finally someone else notices trucks are suicidal.

I mean if people were rude to me. Abused me. Mass produce my kind. Just to kill me. I would want to die. Diesel tells lies. And causes the trucks to look bad. Thomas bashed the truck in Thomas and the trucks. They took revenge. No truck fights back unless abused. Then they got so mad at the engines. They fought back 24/7. They just want to be treated fairly. They are disabled. Can’t really move, also they have annoying voices, and people tease the trucks. They just want to be treated nicely.
Jake Josh yes! This is why they’re nice to engines who treat them with courtesy. Though I used to wonder if some trucks were just crazy.

I think you meant to say that Godred MacHarold reigned Sodor in the late 10th century. The last King of Sodor, Andreas, died in 1263.

There is nothing worse than disturbing a ghost's resting place. And after seeing that the older engines forgive Godred, I hope he will finally move on.

I'm a little sadden that Godred never got to speak at all, I would've wonder what he would sound like if t1e2h3 or someone else had given him one.

@@channelofthepeople-98I don't think an accent like James' would fit someone like Godred. Maybe an accent like Alfred's or Crovan's would suit him better, both also being, or having been named after important people, and being, or having been conceited.

One thing I wanted from this is an alternative ending. Like
where Wilfred and Mr. B seeing the ghost of Godred staring at them, then
disappearing and hear a loud crash sound. Other than that, good work.
Poor Godred I feel sorry for him after his accident on back in years ago.🙁

Wow, the ending made me jump!! I didn't expect the Culdee Mountain Engines to let a rotting piece of Godred to be tossed down, in order to let him rest in peace and turn back to normal, instead of fighting him like "Timothy the Ghost Train".
I’d more think that Godred would *help* them defeat a ghost.
While he was reckless, he never meant badly. He didn’t throw himself off intentionally.
But at least Timothy had a reason for his crash. Besides, who’s to say a brake failure is his fault?
@@sdmedia1323 It IS his fault though, because he wouldn't apply his automatic brakes. Although I would have liked to see the ghost of Godred help Gordon and Henry defeat the ghost of Alfred in 'Revenge of the Ghost Train

That was quite an interesting ending, my favorite part was when Godred is listening to what Wilfred is saying and suddenly calms down. This certainly has an RWS-feel, doesn't go to the usual extremes you'd expect by some fans would take with Godred. Anyways, looking forward to more "T1E2H3 Railway Series" videos. They've proven to be well-written until now.
Yeah during the video with Godred's appearances was extremely creepy also very clever about using the O face as Godred's horror face
The ending where Wilfred said that Godred was forgiven, it made me cry.

Shorter episode: Godred was dead when he had been taken apart. All the engines was going to miss Him. the mountain engines created a new engine it was a Diesel engine later that night a ghostly train came hissing Eric felt cross stop it I’m trying to get some sleep! He said. The outline was an evil engine! So Wilfred chased him but George was working. Oops said the manager. That morning Wilfred forgives Godred. Happy Halloween and........ 14:06 BOO!

Don't usually go for the spooky stuff but this was very well done!! Not absurd at all! The way his ghost 'mended' when forgiven was an especially nice touch.

This stuff does normally scare me but i noticed Godred isnt pissed any more so we have nothing to worry about

And Godred finally laid himself to rest once more. No longer an anger-filled monster of proportions unknown, now a peaceful spirit.
He would return, but not in the form others would expect.

When Wilfred said "We forgive you." Godreds ghost shout have whispered "Thank you."
Or when wilfred said "we forgive you" the controller also called him a really usefull engine then godred whispered thank you & dissapeared smiling

Awesome story! Love you bringing Godred into mind, knowing he was scrapped! And boy, was it stunning, his ghost appearing and making weird noises. It's so spot-on! Also, you got me there with that jump-scare at the end.

I had an idea like this myself a while back. It's a good thing something similar has now been published, but I do feel Gorded should've interacted with the other engines.
+icverano525 I wanted to keep this in the RWS style, so I made it as realistic as possible. You'll notice my stories about ghosts are usually up to interpretation. But I think I should have.

For those of you saying Godred should have interacted with the engines: I wanted to keep this in the RWS style as much as possible. Even though you see Godred's ghost, you don't know if it's real or not, because the engines never see him. It could have been a hallucination. Therefore, it's up to interpretation. You'll notice I did the same with The Eyes, never revealing whether Duncan actually saw them or was hallucinating. Also, it makes it more mysterious when the engines never saw Godred's ghost, making you wonder what really happened. I do agree that it would be interesting to see the interaction between Godred and the engines, but for this, I didn't want to extend the disbelief too far. Imagine Duncan talking to the Ghost Engine on the bridge. Though it would be interesting, it would be too unrealistic for obvious reasons. Just thought I'd say that :)
Were these stories a different version of the mountain engine book?
+Jinty the Midland Engine The reason I didn't use the models for Patrick and Culdee was because the Jonateers models didn't have the option to change faces. Since SI3D only made Culdee and Patrick (or Lord Harry), I didn't want to photoshop their faces as well when I could just use an older model.

i just got it, so remmeber the engine from the eyes? well, how i think godred got possed, was that the demon that was possesing that engine in the eyes, well ,when he was dead, the demon moved on to another engine, and decided to possesse godred

Perhaps he possessed Phil Boggiston, and was finally vanquished when he was killed.
This is an amazing Halloween special i tell you i cant stop watching it don't matter if there's little of godred i still like it anyway well done mat brilliant special cant wait to see what you do next

when I was really young i watched this episode, and godred's demon face would traumatize me for many years, however I came back to this just to rid my fear once and for all. and i can say... it really helped to return, now that i am older godred's demon face scares me no more. the version of godred's demon face in my mind originally didnt have the red pupils, it was just hollow eyes. but now that i returned I fear it no more.

That last pic at the end scared me. I thought it was rather nice that Godred appears to have finally passed on or at least be at peace.

Godred was based of a incident in Snowdon mountain cog railway after A train lost grip on the rails and raced backwards then derailed and tumbled down the mountain while the coaches stayed on the rails. Plus a man died from blood loss by jumping from one of the coaches.

I still remember the day I clicked on this. I was really interested in Culdee and the Mountain Engines so I was excited to watch this. But I got caught off guard by the intro LOL

Even though this one is 1 year old or 2. I still like it because the way you've made the end is kind of heartbreaking. When Wilfred says that Godred is forgiven an Godreds face goes from horrific if to sad. I just somehow gets sad there, maybe it is because that Godreds ghost truly regrets having scared the others and regretting that he was so reckless and didn't listen. I think he wishes that he could have a second chance and actually he realised that even though he was a ghost, the others was his friends and the Culdee Fell is his home that he don't want to leave.
I hope you one day will explain why that scene makes me and perhaps any other quite sad :)
