- I recently purchased a GoPro Hero 4 Silver with intention to attach it to my bow and record some hunting footage this season. This video is simply some preliminary test results for my own benefit.

looked pretty good buddy
Thanks Plumpy. I think the GP will be good as for something like an overhead shot but am not going to use it otherwise except if very wet conditions.
The case makes for some real strange sound quality. When I have mine on my Rokon, you would not believe the amount of noise you hear. Thank you for the video
Thanks and I had to google Rokon. That is one awesome bike.
Hard to believe Rokon has been built in the USA for over 50 years. I even have 2 of them. Go listen to the "New Camera Mount on the Rokon" video. You would swear that the bike is coming apart. Thank you for replying.
Interesting, are you going to film when you are hunting? Is that the plan?
Self filming a bow hunt is the plan for sure. I've been previously using a Canon Powershot point-and-shoot and was wanting something more suited for the task.
Sweet!!
Hey brother! Gave ya a big shout out on insta gram. Love your work! Keepem comin!!
Thank you sir
Any way you could make a quick video on sharpening knives? Id really appreciate it sir. I myself am from Kentucky. Now i live in the Shenandoah valley in VA. And if you do PLEASE give a shoutout to "babydarrington". We are both big fans. Thanks again sir.
I'll see what I can do tomorrow since it is supposed to rain and won't be able to bow hunt.
Thank you!
Here you go. Hope you enjoy.

Ive never been impressed with the sound quality on a Go Pro. Ive heard them on RZRs and its a lot of noise too. Their video is good tho.
I've got this GP in a waterproof case and was surprised that it picked up any noise. Turned out that it seemed to actually amplify the sounds of the bow cables. Who would have thunk that. I've since bought a separate recorder (cheap) and that has solved the noise problem plus allows me to be any distance I want to be away from the cam itself.
