Most of the patients in each class was majority male. The same goes for prisoners. There is so much shame attached to the "men can't be victims" stigma. It is the reason the statistics are so skewed in favor of women. It seemed like he was trying to stay professional and make the best out of an uncomfortable situation. And regardless of whether some guys find that behaviour okay doesn't mean that it is de facto okay.
