I love the sound of the stock exhaust on my 2019 WRX but would love it if it were a bit louder ( where I wouldn't need to turn down music to listen to my exhaust lol) would you say this would be a good buy?
I just installed it on my wrx i dont like the sound almost factory sound, not what i expected also smoking maybe it is new. Can anyone tell me how to make it bit aggressive louder thanks guys.
I got the Q300 on my STi , and for some reason, I don’t know if is because of the mic not catching the sound properly or the fact that you’re testing this on a WRX. But my sound way louder and deeper. It definitely has the subi Rumble. And I just have the Cat back with stock J pipe
Am I the only one saying to myself, "Why is it smoking so much?" Is that just burning out the inside of the new exhaust I guess? The Q300 seems too quiet for my taste with axle back only. Maybe it'd be perfect with the rest of the exhaust being upgraded though.
+MAPerformance They do make a single exit Q300 as well. www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/exhaust/cat-back/invidia-q300-resonated-single-exit-exhaust-2015-wrx-2015-sti#.VjQ64YR5jeQ
+Michael Wood Thanks Michael! I mentioned below that the exhaust was brand new and had been on for less than a day. It's been a few days has stopped smoking completely.
Does the tips hit the plastic of the bumper/diffuser on speed bumps/driveway entrances? I tried to adjust 2X already & it still hits the plastic on both sides if I shake it hard.
Wow this is super quiet. I like it. I just got bored of super loud exhaust. After I traded in my 2005 Scion XB has 190k miles and running super strength and quiet engine. On my 2005 Scion XB it has Tsudo 4 inches tip and it was super loud and rumble nice and it was vibrate my whole room and garbage when start up. It was sick though but I got rid of it for 2016 Subaru WRX Pure Red because I needed for severe winter. Scion XB 2005 was great on 10 inches of snow no problem because of alloy wheel have more ride height then stock steel wheel and I went through snow over 11 years with Scion XB 2005 is like it was nothing no problem. I am really serious. I will miss it but I love my new 2016 Subaru WRX. I am planning on getting Invidia Q300 quad exhaust or Ark quad exhaust or HKS Legamax Quad exhaust. I don't know which is sound better. I love this video. Thank you.
Yes it is quiet. Almost too quiet for an aftermarket exhaust. Sounds a lot better with a j-pipe.

@@renzo2579 nameless axleback with 5inch mufflers is a good buy.
@@nick.mk7 I just checked out a video comparing it to stock. that sounds smooth af!
Thanks! was looking for a not obnoxious yet more obvious sounding system than the stock looks like a winner
Yes, we think you'll enjoy this one!

Throw on a down pipe, you’ll get more of an aggressive sound
After market j-pipe or trade in for r400
Do you guys have any reviews of the q300 with an aftermarket j-pipe?
The factory exhaust has drone between 1 and 2k rpm, does Q300 have any drone what so ever?

Different engines mate
I’ve heard it’s due to the unequal length headers on the EJ STI vs equal length on the FA20 WRX. But I’m no expert so don’t quote me on it
Invidia N1 Dual Titanium, FTW , love mine and the sound, this one is just too quiet, great video guys.
+La Ghoulstra (Cisco Kidd) Thanks for the feedback! We are reviewing that one soon, very excited! It seems to be everyone's favorite.
does the fact that it's quiet take away horsepower. Will I get the same amount of power as a N 1 exhaust?
Am I the only one saying to myself, "Why is it smoking so much?"

+mdog33333 Correct, this exhaust was brand new and had been on the car for less than a day. It has since stopped smoking entirely!
Any chance of you testing the single exit version of the Q300?
I'm interested in how much weight it saves and if it make similar power on the dyno.
+Stanley Zitello I was not aware of a single exit Q300 for the WRX, are you sure you aren't talking about the N1?
+MAPerformance They do make a single exit Q300 as well. www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru-wrx/exhaust/cat-back/invidia-q300-resonated-single-exit-exhaust-2015-wrx-2015-sti#.VjQ64YR5jeQ
***** Thanks for the info!
+MAPerformance np - I'm going to buy the q300 in part because this video helped me make up my mind. So thank you ;)
+Audie York Thanks!! Hopefully you give us a call!
Could you do the tomei
Was this done paired with stock j pipe?
Curious about the smoking too. Q300 would be great with a j pipe. Great works guys keep it up. Sub'd.
+Michael Wood Thanks Michael! I mentioned below that the exhaust was brand new and had been on for less than a day. It's been a few days has stopped smoking completely.
Sounds sick. I cant wait to get mine. Do you have a J pipe and cold air intake also on this car?
I have this on my STI with killer b headers. Perfect sound. Not too loud like a ghetto kid with a g35
Will the q300 pop and crackle with just the exhaust itself?
I like it.
Is it me or is that thing smoking like crazy?..lol
I guess they leave a lot of lube in the exhaust during assembly.

We didn't notice any contact there. Make sure everything is tight and maybe consider some stiffer mounts/hangers if they are worn out.
How far does the exhaust tips come out from the bumper compared to stock?
Nabil P you can adjust it I think
