Watch the official SLUURP TV teaser trailer for Shrek 5: Rebooted. The 5th Shrek Film is an upcoming Shrek film that was announced in July 2016 by DreamWorks Animation for Universal Pictures as what would be the fifth installment in the Shrek franchise and the sequel to Shrek Forever After. The plot is currently unknown and is scheduled to be released in September 2022.

NOTE: This is a concept trailer. I just wanted to see if I could create something that would resemble what we might see. On November 6 2018, it was revealed in a Variety interview with Chris Meledandri, the founder and CEO Illumination, that there are sequels in the works for Shrek and Puss in Boots. He also revealed that he would like to get all the voice actors back from the previous films. The movie is set to be released on September 2022.

May 2021 will mark the 20th anniversary of the first Shrek movie. I really hope DreamWorks re-release the first movie in theaters when the pandemic slows down like people actually go to theaters again. That way a new generation can see Shrek for the first time. I was one of those late 90s babies who grew up watching Shrek in its prime during the early 2000s

@@aleuid2672 they should expand on it though. Lots of people suspect that the Fairy Godmother put the curse on her, but it’s unconfirmed, could’ve been someone else. Another theory is that ogres are half human, half frog, so ogre is her true form.
